They could make the request politely, but I'd politely decline. The 2nd date is way too soon to be asking a person to show up in any particular way for you (whether that's no makeup or no hat), and I'd be ill-matched with most people who felt this was a reasonable thing to truly desire from someone you met only once before...? If the 1st date makes you both want a 2nd, book it and then actually talk about what each other's regular grooming routine and style choices mean to them. A person's reaction to this question will tell you a lot more about their values and personality than them simply agreeing or disagreeing to the request would've anyways: "You have lovely makeup looks / hat collection in your photos and in-person! How important is that to your self expression? Would you feel comfortable and confident going to those same places if you were not wearing it? How much time do you think you might need to feel comforable doing that around me?"
that's a great point... It's all about how it's said and the persons reaction. Making each other feel comfortable and not shamed is the ultimate goal !☺🤗
5:06 They keep conflating request and demand. Two different scenarios there. They're saying "if a man requests" yet responding with hostility as if it was a demand. Why get defensive or offensive when you can just say no. AND what's wrong with 'Au Naturale'?
I'm in tears that big hip man!!!! 😂 I think it's not something that is a valid ask. People men and women use filters and you don't know what they really look like. Natural is best, but that's me. I want him to know what he's getting.
I mean, i dont use a lot of make up anyways, ive never tried on lashes or done any contour, highlights and all of that. I only use foundation, powder, eyeshadow and mascara, thats it. So, i would totally agree to go on a date without make up, but since i have a quite a bit of acne scars, i would ether use a little bit of foundation to cover them and say that to him, or i would tell him to have a more of a private date, just the two of us and id be fine being without.
Yes, I have dark spots on my face that are healing still... 😅I feel like a man who is interested in you will still see your beauty regardless of the blemishes! Thanks for watching🥰
@@kaelynryan2 I agree on that, still.. it is a insecurity of mine. Someone who always had great skin and after having my son, something changed and ive had to get used to having a skin that breaks off once a month. But thats part of me, i dont think it should change the out come of a date. This was a great video, it pretty unbelievable just how differently women view certain situations. And its interesting.
I truly appreciate it! Means a lot, just trusting God. People like you are a great reminder to keep going. I pray today is filled with favor and blessings, thanks for watching😅🥳
Ok that's fine and make sure you bring your bank statements, credit report, and my health chart so I can make sure “I really know who you are” as well 😊

That’s like me being how many inches before I even go on a date 😂😂😂 valid but horrendous
🤣horrendous truly
I think it’s reasonable to allow a man to see you without makeup. I appreciate your perspective on the situation.
It's only fair. Thank you for watching!😅🙌

exactly, it was a request not a demand ... everyone is entitled to their own opinion though, I guess😅
