Okay, is it just me or I absolutley FELL HEAD OVER HEELS for Papyrus in this comic? Just the voice, old-style violence, and seeing him in a dress shirt made me soul explode; but he still retains his character, and in this more realistic(?) setting he is hundred times hotter. Please tell me I'm not the only one..
You're not the only one. I'm usually a huge Paps fangirl anyway but he was voiced really well and his "serious clothes" are on point. He's particularly delicious in this setting.
I expected just your typical Undertale au comic, but this was pure gold, great story, editing was nice, and the background music was pleasant to listen too.

He's just far too nice and naive to conceivably be allowed into battle, which I imagine is why despite being incredibly lazy and unreliable at times Sans is still ultimately the one given sentry duty. Sans is also actually incredibly physically weak, but in canon his knowledge of the timelines lets him play with the rules (his 1 damage stacks because there's no invincibility frames, he causes a poison/karma effect, he can attack you in your menu, etc).
I just watched this after so many years and the nostalgia didn't failed to kick in (also it's so cute seeing Papyrus take care of the human like he's their dad and Sans like he's the uncle)
Dunno ‘bout you guys but I didn’t I was paying more attention to the details and background since I’m making up a story similiar to this one in m’mind.
I think the best answer is both since they barely overlap? Dusttale has a good concept but frankly the story isn’t that great, doesn’t have much room to be with the limited settings. Mafiatale has a pretty meh concept with an amazing story
