    Great job Mike, ,my dad was a master plumber who worked on commercial steam and hydronic systems in Philly. Named the Company General piping! He wanted me to do plumbing but when I came home from the air force, (1970) and went to work for Bell Telephone, I got burnt buy putting a cold ladle into a pot of hot lead when I was 14 and I never wanted to do plumbing work again. My dad blamed himself for not warning me about it, we were rushing between rain showers on a summer day installing sewer pipes to laterals. That was the summer of 1964, Horsham Pa. I enjoy your videos, thanks for the entertainment!

      I see you mentioned Bell Telephone, in 87 I started at AT&T the newer Bell with all the splits and stuff I migrated to Lucent, then Alcatel-Lucent. Although I was in the Installation group for landline then Cellular. Was a great job 🙂

    Damn, that's crazy. It's hard to believe that there's anyone walking this earth that wouldn't see that and not think 'there's something seriously wrong here' (referring to the boiler vent being basically disconnected, the WH vent issue would be harder to spot). Mikey Pipes saving lives again.
    Edit: the 'After' on the boiler's exhaust is orders of magnitude better than the before. One less bend, and it looked kind of like the horizontal run between the boiler and the elbow to the chimney had a slight downward slope towards the chimney..

    Nice job and hey you were keeping it real admitting forgetting CO meter. You don't have to seal the vent pipes with tape or anything? Just screws to hold it together? As for the vent piping coming loose id give benefit of the doubt he did it playing with the pressure trol he grabbed it to give a boost up and didn't pay attention to it.

    • @theodorgiosan2570
      @theodorgiosan2570 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I put 4 in, 2 across the top, 2 across the bottom. Only takes 30 seconds more to put in an extra one. Just don't have it sticking directly into the bottom of a horizontal pipe. Why you'd put in less when the pipe is so flimsy is beyond me. That stuff falls apart even with 3 screws in it. I use rivets on all connections except for the ends, so that the whole assembly stays together and can be removed for cleaning. Then foil tape over all the seams. But I work on oil for the most part, if you don't do that you get soot coming out of every joint especially if the customer doesn't maintain their boiler often enough.

    Sadly if you purchase the new garbage cans, they need to be chained up since people are stealing them like crazy. My neighbors purchased the trash can and it got stolen within a week.
    Many people supported a corrupt policy that would force them to buy an overpriced low quality garbage can, then when faced with the poor value, it is becoming increasingly common for people to steal them to avoid paying while also trying to avoid the ticket that starts in the beginning of 2025.
