@@kendrickgray2873 your point is correct but the example you have is terrible. A bottleneck getting data to the CPU is not the same as having a lower core count Think of a processor as the engine and the ram is the fuel pump.
How do you get this. I have a ryzen 7 3700x, 2070S, and 16gb of ram and i get about this fps but my problem is that it stutters LIKE CRAZY. The worst stutters I've seen in a game, and it makes sense considering I only have 16gb of ram, but you do too and it isn't stuttering
@@loreen76loreen That is unfortunate. I just moved the game to an nvme m.2 ssd and am clearing sometimes hitting 100fps in PO where before I was around 30 to 40. Maybe worth trying an ssd if ypu arent yet.
@@blaqkstar I have an m.2 but have it installed on my hdd. I have slightly better hardware than whats in the video, but I have 16gb of ram and am getting around the same fps, but huge stutters, do you think putting it on the ssd would fix that?
@@mercenarios3 the fact that not all computers won't change i think. I'm running it with a I5 2500 and a 1050 2Gb and I just can't go in a city without crashing. But i can see the optimization at every update. Hopefully my future computer (r5 3600 or 2600x + RTX 2060) will alow me to go to those cities and i won't play anymore in low graphics
Always get dual channel ram, the difference between single and dual is significant.

Interesting, looking at the comments I actually thought 40FPS is pretty good with a 2060 for this game but it does dip heavy to 30fps though.

The game is extremely Ram heavy, its reccomended to have 32gb if you want smoothish frames
I've already tested it on 32gb (Link: th-cam.com/video/v5MRNisB7nM/w-d-xo.html ) and there was no change.
No if you want to increase your frame rate you have to buy a better GPU. Increase the RAM doesn't change anything

Considering this is from 2 years ago now, it would be different, upgrading RAM makes a massive difference, and making sure it's installed on an SSD.

On my channel I have tests of different versions. I made them specifically to show exactly that - the fact that the quality of the game is worsening.
Why this game is so heavy?
Because of very large sizes of the in-game world, plus all the transportation happens without any loadings.

3.6.2 runs a bit smoother
FPS didn't higher for me, though.. I didn't notice any large changes... But maybe it does :D
