I love the backstory that Max’s aunt runs the BBC, so Chris can’t fire him no matter how much he goofs off

The funny thing is that Max is actually a great actor with a brilliant range. He’s just a bit of a joker.

He’s quick to adapt to the play’s issues, and unlike most of the other actors, actually gets the exact reactions he wants out of the audience. Chris and Robert are too uptight and try one up-ing the other, often arguing on stage over du
The smallest things, Jonathan is barely on set and Dennis is…Dennis. Max is honestly the only male actor in the troop who can work with most of the other members without drama and can easily use his mistakes in the play
on the wikipedia page, it descibes max as "occasionally good actor"

And for all his grinning, there's only one time - in "The Most Lamentable" - where he corpses while trolling Chris.
Max is one of the few who knows which drama group he's in 😅
I love the Kitchen Sink Drama. Robert just spent a whole chunk of time calling some actors rubbish performers, and then Max immediately involves that group in his skit and has so much fun with them. It's such a sweet sentiment.

It shows how Max is incredibly wholesome and actually loves the craft, he is not egotistical like Chris or Robert.

3:20 Max has endured a lot of sorrow. Being bullied for not being a good actor in Peter Pan. Who knows in the cornley drama universe how much Max has endured. The tears came natural for him. Jokes aside. Love him!
Considering how he manages to pull off blasting Robert in chess while speed running his lines, I think he’s far more clever than folks give him credit for. He likes bewildering Robert and irritating Chris. Just two different styles of calculated messing with them for a reaction. Also, I’m not sure humans can put out that many tears in that short of a time frame 😂
