@UchihaItachi-ke4td it depends on your build. It's waaaay easier with some than others. What you find hard and others find easy now, later on it'll be reversed.
I remember watching your videos for dark souls 3. You got me hooked and I put well over 2,000 hours into it afterwards. I beat elden ring 3/4 of the way but it just didn’t do it for me. This game just makes me happy it feels like bloodborne and dark souls combined and it’s just perfect. Thank you for your dedication I will definitely be watching more of your videos :>
Couple notes for people on hushed Saint: Kukajin doesn’t need to survive, just be present on the attempt you kill him, do not attempt to pop the parasites of you’re not already in umbral form (they’re too annoying to find and you’ll most likely get hit), you CAN parry the boss off his horse if you want, and dodge into his weapon (that seemed more consistent to me)
*also locking on seems to make this fight harder. I always stay unlocked and use the actual roll instead of dash. When he dives into the ground and pops up to slam you, you can dodge into that. I like to sprint away when he dives and when the camera zooms out and he pops up, turn around, roll into and behind him. He should never hit you with that move utilizing that strat
Yeah, you're right. I found that to be 100% true. Everytime I went to pop one he'd almost one hit kill me. And the time has to be perfect almost. Like he has to be standing exactly over one & you'd have to do it 3-4 times to get the stun.
Umbral eye of the pale butcher is actually super good in the secondary slot, you constantly regen soulflay charges whilst in unbranded, it takes a few seconds to get it back so you can use them over and over again. It makes those big face umbral guys an absolute joke. Best in the primary slot is eye of hooded antuli- 8 SECONDS of invincibility upon entering umbral…it’s insane
The invincibility one is pretty good, but obviously the best ones are the invulnerability while charge attacking and the one that causes withered damage to yourself for infinite ammo because the ammo will just regen the withered damage instantly.

Its interesting to see how much they have changed in just three months. The biggest thing i noticed in this video is the red silent reaper when you run out the clock. They found out everyone was farming the heck out of him doing glitches like the one he showed us here. Now he cannot fall off platforms like he did and he can basically teleport to anywhere you are at. Even when I was lvl 200 I barely took damage off him and of course you cant use regular healing methods while he two shots you with the heaviest armor on. Now its impossible to farm that thing for Umbral Scouring.
Everyone keeps complaining that you can't farm him for umbral scourings, but I don't get it... you know you don't need to right? Just farm the avenging torchbearer lamps which give you three plucked eyes for each one. Go to a low level zone and they are everywhere. Then at the merchant next to mohlu or whatever the name of the guy you buy the boss weapons from you can buy unlimited umbral scourings for 3 plucked eyes each. For a couple of hours farming you can pretty much buy the entire inventory of boss armour...
Must say, this is the best walkthrough series i've watched. New to the game, souls games as well and this is helping a lot, Thx (before you hammer me down, i know, its a souls-like, game)
NGL that boss took me like 2 hours to beat and I'm following both the build and guide. I'm even a higher level than CB. This isn't my first rodeo I have beat Dark Souls 1 and 2, Lies of P, the original Lorrds of the Fallen, Elden Ring and Demon Souls so I have no idea why I just wasn't good at this. Either way I'm about to pour up my second favorite bourbon and have a celebratory drink because FUCK THAT BOSS!!! Thanks though cowboy for leading me/us through this MAZE of a game. Love your work as always.
I've learned so much from you dude. But the thing that always impressed me was how evasive you are against bosses. It's like you helped design them or something. I'm not as agile as you but I'm improving with every walk through I follow of yours. Thanks! I hate that side quest as well. One of the few things that held me back from platinum the first playthrough.
These games always surprise me how well they hide things. I’ve been running around this area just having fun killing stuff and if I’m being honest, leveling up because this boss beat my ass over and over. I’ve been running around this area for days and never saw that spell.

Cheesed my first Red Reaper but only got 5 umbral, not 20. Playing on Series X and also noticed today that it was not as glitchy (especially at Skyrest) and the vestige seeds dropped from 2500 to 1200. which is great.
So it looks like to get the trophy you will need to land the final blow on the reaper. I was fortunate enough to have it fall to the platform below and survive and I used my ranged attack to get the kill and trophy. I also got 20 Umbral scourings this way. Looks like you can farm the reaper using the cheese method to get 5 scourings and a decent amount of vigor, if you choose.
Following this guide - and I think radiance builds have been nerfed considerably. My Pieta's isn't doing nearly as much damage and I see the smite was reduced too. Also, my radiance spells aren't as strong.
Check that you did find the Angel of Mercy set. Good job. I saw you pass it so many times. I was trying to find a way to lower that ladder and fell into it before i saw when you picked it up.
If anyone has trouble with this boss, turn your camera speed up to 1.4-1.6. It makes following him way easier. If you don't see a dirt trail, he's coming out of the same spot to do the thrust
I should have played this before they went in and buffed up all the bosses and added new tricks and attacks. This guy is relentless in my game! He never stops long enough for me to get two hits in. He also turns in the middle of his grip attack. He'll start facing one way, I'll dodge and he'd spin on the spot and still hit me with it!
Elianne is next to impossible for me on NG+. Trying to figure out how to adjust my build or even respec just to beat her. Dervla's crossbow seems promising.
After the update today it only gives you 5 when cheesing the wraith, and if you hesitate in the slightest bit getting over to that platform he’ll go back in the ground to which you have to get on the very tip of it and let him hit you. But he will fall and you’ll get ur vigor and shrimpies.
ok so i got him to jump off after running round twice but didn't get anything from him except all enemies respawning guess its patched now maybe i'll try once more
Love these videos... I think they fixed that bug with the red ghost... I have tried multiple times and he doesn't fall off... he just looks at me, then reappears behind me :(
Red Reaper only gave me 5 the 1st time, but ended up with around 20k vigor after killing him and trash while waiting for him to pop. Still worth the effort.
They must have change the amount of umbral scouring you get for defeating that wraith. I have been following your walk-through since episode one. The first time I killed it was how you instructed at the end of episode six. And I only got five.

For anyone trying to get a shadow dispelled achievement/trophy you can not cheese it to get it you have to defeat it in order for the achievement/trophy to pop up
if you do the umbral ending, you have to kill gerlinde which means you cant upgrade gear anymore and if you still want to upgrade, you have to give the final rune tablet to sparky instead of gerlinde, this way you will be able to upgrade directly at a rest vestige (both runes and upgrading), but because you give the last rune to sparky, gerlinde wont give you the crafters essence rune which makes an equipment weight go down to zero which you need to dual wield ravager gregory sword and such, so you have to choose, do you want crafters essence and not be able to upgrade weapons more or do you want to upgrade weapons and not have crafters essence. this just feels like really bad design, forcing a choice like that on you which can impact the game alot, especially if you didnt reach +10 on a weapon
For the Hushed Saint boss fight, hold down block the entire time he's riding around on the horse and stay away. Eventually he will dismount then pound him. When he does the attack with the force on the ground that radiates out in a circle, roll through it. He's not that bad. Took me like five tries.
Idk why they didn’t give you the option to choose if you wanted the dash or roll for your dodge, instead of having to hit O twice to roll when locked on. The dash just doesn’t cover enough distance imo. It’s way easier to dodge with a roll while not even locked on.
After trying out all the Summons- Stomund is the best for this fight, he consistently lasted the longest. Most of the others die from trampling the first minute of the fight.
Because you can’t do the Scarlet Shadow glitch anymore just run passed the cage guard at the beginning of the area and straight ahead off the balcony he will follow you and drop 500 vigor each time, then rest, rinse and repeat and in 20 minutes you should have just as much vigor as cowboy

I'm glad they changed the amount of plucked eyeballs you get, when I saw you only got 3 I was shocked because I get 150 each revenge kill and I currently have 3750 eyeballs lol
Just wondering if you can do damaruse and any other quest that need the pillars stills corrupted snd then cleanse them all for the radiant ending later if that's the ending you're ultimately going for. Because I want to do quest but I gotta come thru for my pieta, she's a literal angel 😇
One frustration I get with games like this, is that it doesn't give you any type of hint that you could choose to or not to hit the beacon... I had no idea not doing it was an option till I seen this :/ Guess I'm stuck with doing the "Good guy" Ending on first play through :/
Can you buy two of same items (weapons, spells or armor) from the same Boss remembrance in one game cycle? I got everything from all bosses using that reaper cheese and could only get one of each.
Ye would like to know what he meant when saying he gonna get a second sword, doesn't look like you can buy more than one, my guess is that it allows you to buy the full armor in one go, and maybe he confused that? Not sure either since I also went with the sword
Aww. That's sad. Would have loved to dual wield lightsabers. The sword aesthetically outclasses every other short sword that I'm just going nothing in off-hand. The move set is way quicker single handed and guess I'll either have to pick up a shield or roam around like Lies of P. 😅
I absolutely love this game way more than lies of p hands-down. The only Jenkins in this game that's really like oh my God is the lock on, and the simple fact when the enemy dies you have to go to not pick up the souls but to just run by it. But the lock on for sure because when I'm trying to lock onto someone right next to me it locks On the last enemy farthest away that needs to be fixed.
Nah imho lop way better in terms of replayability. This game is good but too much mops on the ways and too big for fast re runs. In ER at least you could ignore enemies most of the time. Here u get Range spammed all the time. But that is Just me

Don't get me wrong I love Lord's of the fallen in one important way is better and that in the creativity and differing from the souls like games. Imho compared to lop it's not even a souls like which is a good thing. Lop is carbon copy souls like. But as far as quality and bugginess lop is a way better made game.
It's weird that on PS5 you get the Vengeance lanterns in offline mode. You shouldn't. I only got 6 umbral Scourings when I killed the Crimson Reaper. And on Xbox, you can only get one Boss weapon from each remembrance per playthrough.
Day 3 of trying to make people aware of a bug at the bramis castle gate where interacting doesnt prompt the cutscene or (gate does not budge) message, instead it removes the ability to interact with objects and dodge. Maybe if people on youtube start mentioning it the devs will look into it
I think my biggest pet peave in this game has gotta be increasing the max weight limit I absolutely love this game after Elden ring but I miss the constant increase to weight limit in Elden ring
An easy way to beat him is get to the second phase then just put some distance and he’ll jump out of the ground, roll towards it, hit him a few times, then get more distance and repeat
Took me three attempts to beat him. I was super tempted to use a different summons because this one's health pool is shit but she helped me get him to stage two at least. Once stage two started I found it to be a lot easier than stage one Remember, when he taps his shield twice in stage two, he's summoning his horse so just run away and the horse will miss. When he dives into the ground in stage two, listen for the sound of him leaping from the ground and start rolling. He still might hit you with the AOE of the thorns if you don't get enough distance from whereever you're standing. Other than that, just manage your stamina and wait for openings which he gives you a lot of. As far as stage one, I'd just not even try to pop the parasites. That is what kept getting me caught up and dying early. Just let him do his thing and he'll eventually jump of the horse. Try to follow the "wave" of where he's going from underground so when he does dismount you have a little time to get as many hits in as possible before he starts swinging. I'm running a Radiant build and never used magic in this fight. I also totally fucked up the cheesing that umbral red phantom. If you don't stand where Cowboy did, he can get you. I should've watched this part of the video again to do it right because I stood on the hand and the phantom just went into the ground and popped up and killed me...well, he hit me and in my panic run away I fell off the platform. But the second time I got him to fall off the platform but he lived through it so I paniced and jumped out of Umbral. I guess maybe it takes two falls to kill him? You also have to be quick. The way I got to the platform without him following me was to stand at the base of the spine bridge and as soon as he jumped up from the gound to lunge attack me I rolled and ran. If you wait a split second too long he'll just go into the ground and follow you.
He said in the video that if you cleanse it it starts you on a different ending than what he is going for he is going for the more difficult umbrul ending I really hope he at the very least tells us what to do if we decide to cleanse the beacon
Usually he does but I presume you can just follow the guide and keep cleansing the beacons. If something would be affecting you, he surely will mention that

The most annoying thing about this fight is that you have to pay the Kukajin when she doesn't even have the strength to finish the fight with you. If she was some incredibly powerful NPC that could self-heal or something, I'd understand. Also, they updated the game. That red reaper doesn't fall off anymore. He literally just flies around like superman. Goddamn!

Great tips. I realized that issue with the parasites. You actually don't need to pop any of them and just take your time.

Red Reaper only gave me 5 the 1st time, but ended up with around 20k vigor after killing him and trash while waiting for him to pop. Still worth the effort.

They must have change the amount of umbral scouring you get for defeating that wraith. I have been following your walk-through since episode one. The first time I killed it was how you instructed at the end of episode six. And I only got five.

For anyone trying to get a shadow dispelled achievement/trophy you can not cheese it to get it you have to defeat it in order for the achievement/trophy to pop up
Not true, you can cheese him, just as long as the last hit that registers, the one that kills him, is a melee attack.
How do you kill him without cheesing it? I can't heal while fighting it.
I did the wait for the red eye guy and he fell just like yours did and he didn’t die !
if you do the umbral ending, you have to kill gerlinde which means you cant upgrade gear anymore
and if you still want to upgrade, you have to give the final rune tablet to sparky instead of gerlinde, this way you will be able to upgrade directly at a rest vestige (both runes and upgrading), but because you give the last rune to sparky, gerlinde wont give you the crafters essence rune which makes an equipment weight go down to zero which you need to dual wield ravager gregory sword and such, so you have to choose, do you want crafters essence and not be able to upgrade weapons more or do you want to upgrade weapons and not have crafters essence.
this just feels like really bad design, forcing a choice like that on you which can impact the game alot, especially if you didnt reach +10 on a weapon
For the Hushed Saint boss fight, hold down block the entire time he's riding around on the horse and stay away. Eventually he will dismount then pound him. When he does the attack with the force on the ground that radiates out in a circle, roll through it. He's not that bad. Took me like five tries.

Idk why they didn’t give you the option to choose if you wanted the dash or roll for your dodge, instead of having to hit O twice to roll when locked on. The dash just doesn’t cover enough distance imo. It’s way easier to dodge with a roll while not even locked on.
noooooooo I did not summon Kukajin for this boss fight, gonna have to do her quest in another playthru then (pain)
You don’t have to use Kukajin. I use someone else - Rosmund or something similar, and he seemed immune to some attacks and also healed.
Cowboy made himself lose once to get the summon. I made myself lose 247 times. And counting.....

After trying out all the Summons- Stomund is the best for this fight, he consistently lasted the longest. Most of the others die from trampling the first minute of the fight.
Because you can’t do the Scarlet Shadow glitch anymore just run passed the cage guard at the beginning of the area and straight ahead off the balcony he will follow you and drop 500 vigor each time, then rest, rinse and repeat and in 20 minutes you should have just as much vigor as cowboy
I know i am very late to the party. But is there a way to go back so I can summon kukajin? (I know i misspelled) I've been trying to run thru this without help and completely missed unfreezing her. I thought I needed to talk to someone else

Red Reaper has been patched. He no longer dies from falling off the cliff, but respawns back wherever you are.
I'm glad they changed the amount of plucked eyeballs you get, when I saw you only got 3 I was shocked because I get 150 each revenge kill and I currently have 3750 eyeballs lol
Just wondering if you can do damaruse and any other quest that need the pillars stills corrupted snd then cleanse them all for the radiant ending later if that's the ending you're ultimately going for. Because I want to do quest but I gotta come thru for my pieta, she's a literal angel 😇

One frustration I get with games like this, is that it doesn't give you any type of hint that you could choose to or not to hit the beacon... I had no idea not doing it was an option till I seen this :/ Guess I'm stuck with doing the "Good guy" Ending on first play through :/

Can you buy two of same items (weapons, spells or armor) from the same Boss remembrance in one game cycle? I got everything from all bosses using that reaper cheese and could only get one of each.
Ye would like to know what he meant when saying he gonna get a second sword, doesn't look like you can buy more than one, my guess is that it allows you to buy the full armor in one go, and maybe he confused that? Not sure either since I also went with the sword
You were able to previously, it was patched out recently.
Aww. That's sad. Would have loved to dual wield lightsabers. The sword aesthetically outclasses every other short sword that I'm just going nothing in off-hand. The move set is way quicker single handed and guess I'll either have to pick up a shield or roam around like Lies of P. 😅

I absolutely love this game way more than lies of p hands-down. The only Jenkins in this game that's really like oh my God is the lock on, and the simple fact when the enemy dies you have to go to not pick up the souls but to just run by it. But the lock on for sure because when I'm trying to lock onto someone right next to me it locks

Nah imho lop way better in terms of replayability. This game is good but too much mops on the ways and too big for fast re runs. In ER at least you could ignore enemies most of the time. Here u get Range spammed all the time. But that is Just me

This game ist way better in terms of variety and mechanics but also stressfull imo. After platin grind i will have a biiig break from this game :D LoP i could do a fast casual playtrough in 3 hrs
@@HiroThatDudeyour the first one I have heard say that. Lop is universally regarded as a higher quality made and designed game. Don't get me wrong I love Lord's of the fallen in one important way is better and that in the creativity and differing from the souls like games. Imho compared to lop it's not even a souls like which is a good thing. Lop is carbon copy souls like. But as far as quality and bugginess lop is a way better made game.
It's weird that on PS5 you get the Vengeance lanterns in offline mode. You shouldn't.
I only got 6 umbral Scourings when I killed the Crimson Reaper. And on Xbox, you can only get one Boss weapon from each remembrance per playthrough.

Day 3 of trying to make people aware of a bug at the bramis castle gate where interacting doesnt prompt the cutscene or (gate does not budge) message, instead it removes the ability to interact with objects and dodge. Maybe if people on youtube start mentioning it the devs will look into it

I think my biggest pet peave in this game has gotta be increasing the max weight limit I absolutely love this game after Elden ring but I miss the constant increase to weight limit in Elden ring
An easy way to beat him is get to the second phase then just put some distance and he’ll jump out of the ground, roll towards it, hit him a few times, then get more distance and repeat
Took me three attempts to beat him. I was super tempted to use a different summons because this one's health pool is shit but she helped me get him to stage two at least. Once stage two started I found it to be a lot easier than stage one
Remember, when he taps his shield twice in stage two, he's summoning his horse so just run away and the horse will miss. When he dives into the ground in stage two, listen for the sound of him leaping from the ground and start rolling. He still might hit you with the AOE of the thorns if you don't get enough distance from whereever you're standing. Other than that, just manage your stamina and wait for openings which he gives you a lot of.
As far as stage one, I'd just not even try to pop the parasites. That is what kept getting me caught up and dying early. Just let him do his thing and he'll eventually jump of the horse. Try to follow the "wave" of where he's going from underground so when he does dismount you have a little time to get as many hits in as possible before he starts swinging.
I'm running a Radiant build and never used magic in this fight.
I also totally fucked up the cheesing that umbral red phantom. If you don't stand where Cowboy did, he can get you. I should've watched this part of the video again to do it right because I stood on the hand and the phantom just went into the ground and popped up and killed me...well, he hit me and in my panic run away I fell off the platform. But the second time I got him to fall off the platform but he lived through it so I paniced and jumped out of Umbral. I guess maybe it takes two falls to kill him? You also have to be quick. The way I got to the platform without him following me was to stand at the base of the spine bridge and as soon as he jumped up from the gound to lunge attack me I rolled and ran. If you wait a split second too long he'll just go into the ground and follow you.

He said in the video that if you cleanse it it starts you on a different ending than what he is going for he is going for the more difficult umbrul ending I really hope he at the very least tells us what to do if we decide to cleanse the beacon
Usually he does but I presume you can just follow the guide and keep cleansing the beacons. If something would be affecting you, he surely will mention that

I beat hushed saint second try with pieta before I watched this walkthrough, I used a +7 bloody glory grand sword and it was quite easy
The most annoying thing about this fight is that you have to pay the Kukajin when she doesn't even have the strength to finish the fight with you. If she was some incredibly powerful NPC that could self-heal or something, I'd understand.
Also, they updated the game. That red reaper doesn't fall off anymore. He literally just flies around like superman. Goddamn!
