Notaries here in Virginia use a giant stamp to add acknowledgment language.

+Tin Foil Hat Lady33 (Lady Fairfax33) That is why I always say there are 50 ways to skin this cat, what works on California likely is unique to California. Same with Virginia, Nebraska, Arizona etc. Waving a hand from the left coast!

+coreyeib doesn't reciprocity allow us to use other state law in the state we are located in?

I think that means one state will recognize another states actions, I don't think you can use California notary language to have a Vermont notary acknowledge the document.

+coreyeib I think you might be able to use an authenticated notary signature in another state. Do you see what I mean. A certified law of one stare might be entered into a case in another state. I could be wrong in my logic. Please advise.

Yes, I think a document notarized in California is valid in another state. I think I misunderstood your question, I don't think it is possible to have a Vermont notary perform a notorial act using California language -
