Can you imagine the scope of this man's knowledge of the guitar fretboard, his imagination and outside the box thinking when it comes to writing such groundbreaking offerings? He practically wrote their whole debut album that was one of the most groundbreaking albums in history of any genre and then he follows it up with such songs as Killers and other absolute gems like Murders in the Rue Morgue off the same album. Then for about 50 years he kept bringing gem after gem to the table and is still doing it to this very day with offerings such as When the wild wind blows and Hell on Earth. This man IMHO is the greatest heavy metal song writer of our time. How lucky are we that we live simultaneously through the same decades of time on Earth as this absolute genius? I for one never want this man to retire and never want to see the closing of Iron Maiden as a band. Great and perfect job on the cover Nico. You do it and Maiden great justice. Simply incredible job on this one. Those first two albums are still my favorite after all these years. They were just so raw and unlike anything I'd ever heard when I first heard them. I love every song on each of those, but my favorite of all will always be "Remember Tomorrow". That one just stood out so much for me. Second was easily this song, "Killers". Loved both Adrian and Murray's solos so much on this one. You really nailed that tone, too!!

Wow I have really slept on the Killers album and never really listened through / enjoyed it til a few weeks ago, now I am listening to it all the time, what an awesome album I have slept on. Such a good evolution from the first album, Dennis was pretty good on the first album but what a difference it made being the first album with the Dave&Adrian guitar duo. I recognize a lot of solos on the album are from Dave, what songs have some of the better Adrian solos on the Killers album ? Even though it is kind of simple, the duo guitar lead playing from both Adrian och Dave in the end of the Murders Morgue song is truly awesome. Paul Di'Anno's voice fits really good on these first two albums as well. I heard Bruce perform them live, while he is doing the first albums justice live, Pauls voice fits them better in my opinion, just because they were made for him probably. I bet Bruce is doing them more justice than Paul would on the albums that were made for Bruce if they were to switch since Bruce has a wider register, but we will never know. CHEERS!
great job Nico. Love these 2 solos and of course the rest of the song. It's not one of the most listened to of my favorites, but agter hearing you nail it it may become one of my favorites.

I'd love to talk about that someday as I like the Silver and Gold album very much. However, the interest for that material is not very high so it's a video I plan on making a little further down the road when the channel has a little broader reach.

I think that is so hard to achieve!
