The mitigation retreat was a gift to me, and the world. This time we are in has deepened my mindfulness practice, while keeping me engaged in healthy ways. What is most important to me in the next few months leading up to the election, is staying in touch with goodness, in myself and the world. Thank you Soren and JKZ for supporting that. Sending love.

Jon Kabat Zinn is a legened! I really enjoyed this. Videos like this are what keeps us smaller channels forward leaning. Thank you! 🌿 I implement minimalist and mindfulness principles into my everyday life. I explained how on my channel a couple days ago. Have an awesome day everyone!

Yes, I participated in the "Pamdemic Retreat w/ JKZ, Soren and hundreds of others, although it felt very personal. It was a wonderful experience in a very difficult time. The daily meditations after the "talk" was sublime! Soren and JKZ you have my deepest love and gratitude.

Karen May, I suspect, spent a lot of time preparing for this interview and all the work shines throughout the entire hour and thirty five minutes.....which to me felt much shorter. What a gift, interviewer and interviewee perfectly aligned. Thank you both very, very much

I'm trying to practice being in wise relationship with what it. This is a beautiful video. I'm thinking about the concept of residing in the moment and it nourishes me. Thank you JKZ!

Thoreau wrote in Walden "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." Because we can't experience what is going on inside the minds of others, we tend to think it is just myself that is getting anxious. But no, it is the human condition when our minds are asleep.

I was so grateful to be part of Jon's 13 weeks of Mindfulness Meditation and discussion via TH-cam.
I felt equally present and involved as those on ZOOM. Focus on Jon's words have been invaluable to me in this changing world. I will continue to re listen to 13 weeks of TH-cam recordings and Wisdom 2.0 Summit. I have gained a valuable focus in this trying time. Thank you Jon and Soren. Holly Hall

Who is the I in me
    The watcher within
    The one aware when
    My mind wonders
    Here, there and everywhere
Who with gentle breath and tender touch
Stills my mind and guides me back to now
Call the I what you will
    The East's suffering self
    Or the West's sentient soul
    Either way
Does being mindful really have the power
    As some say
    To make us whole
If we learn to pay attention
And intentionally inhabit each moment of the day
Instead of letting our minds stray
    And wander away

When people act out on line or 6 inches from one's face, that is an opportunity to practice one's humanity; to see where one stands in their own progress of the spirit and consciousness. If 1/1,000 people can distract and derail an intention or goal, likely the 999 have lost sight of why they are practicing; what they are creating. The chaos, however it comes, is a sacred part of the whole. Seeing it can keep one humble, if allowed. It also shines a light on where more work needs to be done. God or Ultimate Consciousness is acting in every role.

If we wish to help others see more or do different; to acquire a shift in consciousness; we'll have to meet them where they are, with fewer and more relatable words. As much as I enjoy these talks, it gets to be too much, and not enough space to relate to the suggestions. It is similar to having bite too many of a very good but rich cake. The depth gets lost in the stimulation.

A completely separate set of ethics is required of government and what it does with our tax dollars than is required from the individual and what he or she wants to do with their own income. The government should spend tax dollars in a wise and thrifty manner, not just squander it on boondoggles (California high speed rail, Solyndra, bank bail outs etc)
