In an interview he said that he submitted the song We Are The World ( USA for Africa ) to be his song for the finals but Simon rejected it and wanted him to sing Beauty and the Beast instead. In an interview he said that he submitted the song We Are The World ( USA for Africa ) to be his song for the finals but Simon rejected it and wanted him to sing Beauty and the Beast instead. Imagine how many voices he can do if Simon let him sing We Are The World. So there, basically Simon deprived you the opportunity to hear marcelito sing in more than 2 voices in 1 song.
