Ted just wanted to say that I’ve bought a few of your Truefire courses, I’m relatively new to trying to play jazz on the guitar, I must say your style blows me away, it’s so fresh sounding, I’m really happy to find your channel, thanks for the tips and tricks
Ted, I’ve heard you demo guitars and I just found your guitar chats. I’m excited to listen and learn from you cause you swing, man? I live in Colorado Springs and I almost bought the Comins GCS-16 that you and Jimmy Bruno played at the Rocky Mountain Archtop Festival, but another dude beat me! I’m a professional intermediate jazz performer playing at fine restaurants, Country Clubs and many Senior Living Communities. I play with my Comins GCS-1. Do you think I should bite the bullet and purchase the Comins GCS-16-1? Brian Usher Music on TH-cam. Thanks for everything, Ted! You are appreciated!
Hey Brian, My student bought that actually exact guitar that Jimmy was playing. He is looking to sell it if you’re interested. Thanks for the kind words brother.
Hej Ted, I can only concur with previous comments, very very nice! Love your harmonic ear and developmental talent with those lightning fast hands. You have mentioned that you use Thomastik 0.14´s, which do deliver great tone. Considering the string height you have set up with, how do you (or me) manage the finger hand strength while still maintaining the finger dexterity? I find the difference between the 0.10´s I presently use and 0.11´s difficult to manage, but would gladly move up in string thickness for tonal reasons. Could you digress?
I'm most amazed by your phrasing, it's like listening to a great saxophone player. Unbelievable.

Thanks again, Ted! You are a great guitar player/musician and your lessons are (like this one) absolutely fantastic.
