alex and valerie were so outstanding in this series such great actors who brought that relationship to life and made their sex totally irrelevant and not forced as many diversity parts are.
they screenplay was truly outstanding in changing emphasis on different characters like how they had Knox and Satu so prominent as well as demonico who were ALL outstanding.

God, the romance is rubbish on this show....how the hell did they go from strangers to "I love you" in 2 weeks? There's so little chemistry between the two actors, it makes me cringe really bad. Please please focus less on the romance and more on the fantasy aspect.
they have so much chemistry ! :D ....And the focus is on the romance, because the books are all about diana's life and love for mathew within the fantasy world. They fell in love really fast, but it's because it's fate...Their characters were meant to be :)
Wow, I don't agree with basically anything you said, lol ! I find their chemistry wonderful and could totally believe in the attraction, romance then love.
It was rushed, but they have chemistry. The downside of squeezing a lot in short episodes. If they could've done 10 episodes it would've flowed better.

They didn't. Timelines are difficult on film. And the chemistry is just a good as the book's.
