@C C Our old testament is the Jewish Bible and is based on Judeo values. As much as Jesus and all the disciples were Jewish ... Christianity (the new testament) has a solid base there. As a Christian, we still follow the ten commandments and pray the Lord's Prayer to the one God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Christianity changed the priorities and even the paradigm by which we live, but not the Judeo base of righteousness and the worship of the one God.

6:55 I do not have a college degree so I really appreciated his jokes about college. I was denied access as an adult because I could not fund it myself, no assistance available because my parents had a business that made an income. For some reason that affected my access to financial assistance for education. I was no victim, I ended up with a job in the field I wanted without the degree and without the debt. I'm grateful I was not given a loan, that would have ruined my life.

I was a Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout. Now my niece's daughter is a Boy Scout and working on this badge. She says the program is better than the Girl Scouts. They do have separate camps, I guess it is not total chaos. Perhaps they expanded because they get fewer members. Perhaps the reports of sexual abuse and homosexuality in the BSA scares off parents. Probably some troops are better than others. When I was a scout in the 50s there was no abuse in my troop and camp. It is not all the same. But it is alarming. Dennis is my favorite conservative commentator.

As a Middle Eastern living in the US, me and my entire family agree that Americans are far less racist than any other country that we have been to. Also, I NEVER faced any racism from a white person, they are the NICEST and most gracious group ( I am saying this based on my experience, for example, when I tell people where i am from or when I mispronounce something, the nicest group are whites). I am sorry, but the MOST racist group towards us are the Hispanics. I have a Chinese friend, the most racist towards her is the Blacks. And the most racist towards Blacks are the Hispanics. I am not saying this to badmouth any other minority group. There are great people on both sides, however, I believe that xenophobia is something that “people of color” need to address.
