  • In this video we explore ways in which we can assist the visually impaired or #blind in their orientation and #mobility. In order to assist this able and precious population, we as sighted individuals must learn certain methods and modify certain behaviours. This video explores some professional techniques with which we can help them navigate the various environments safely and comfortably. Wishing you all the best as you strive to inculcate care, compassion, concern and sacrifice along this path.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Shiney Sebastian for patiently guiding us through this project and trusting our capabilities. I am grateful to my dear friends Mr. Indra Prasad Sharma, Ms. Dabet Phira Roywan and Mrs. Stuti Khanal for their contributions and the spirit of cooperation and fellowship that they showed forth.
I am an Optometrist and have completed my post-graduation in the field. My love for teaching encourages me to make videos and share my understanding. Thanks for sharing the guidance. Many people come across a situation where they play the role of a guide. This is very useful in that case.

Thank you so much . Since childhood we have only heard about assisting for crossing the road ... there is sooo much more !! The illustrations were very helpful . Is it possible to do a demo of the rest of the techniques? It will help to better understand. Thank you .
