The only things that’s rivals 2 has similar to smash is the shield and trapping the edge of the wall and grabs. That’s pretty much it everything else is from its original game rivals of aether. Stop being a hater.
i have a bad feeling this game has a lot of fake hype and is going to totally flop
yeah tbh i don't blame you after nsab1, multiversus, fraymakers and all the other "smash killers". but after the insane support Dan and aether studios has put into the first game for 7 years it gives me the most hope thus far for a platform fighter's future going forward
@@AziDoesQuestionableThingsevery platform fighter isn’t a “smash killer” what is up with this weird idea? Every fighting game that comes out doesn’t get called a “street fighter killer”. No one who plays or develops these platform fighters wants them to be “smash killers” it’s so bizarre
@@CCuppy29 I don't know why this phenomenon is exclusive to platform fighters but some people seem to think every platform fighter that's not smash is trying to overtake it
I think it comes from the necessity of having a star-studded cast or highly recognisable roster to try and compete with the roster of smash while not being mechanically interesting enough to differentiate itself, it's my personal interpretation of what a "smash killer" is
300k raised in less then a day makes me think different
