I’ve been lucky with mine. I have a 2019 530e and just traded a 2016 X1 in on a new X2. The total failures I experienced with the cars are as follows: 530e - The little back up battery in the mirror housing for the emergency SOS calling system got low. Dealer popped a new one in. X1 - Windshield washer fluid pump died - The fabric in the moonroof shade developed a tear When the cars no longer had free routine maintenance I took them to a local BMW specialist who does the service at about half the cost of a dealer.
I live in PA USA and I 'ordered' a Vegas Red X2 M35i with every available package and option. A bit over 60K USD and what I thought, given all the hype, was a great deal. Shifted down a notch from my fully-equipped X3 M40i. Ordered early December 2023. No information available on its build and delivery status until early May, when my dealer informed me that the model (?), my configuration (?), any X2 (?), would NOT be provided to customers in the US. No information from BMW area or corporate as to the reason. I checked dealer inventories from Boston to LA and found only a few low-end "lot cars" - mainly non-Ms, two half-equipped Ms. Does anyone know what's going on? A flaw found at the last moment? Baltimore? Robots on strike? Well, if I order another Bimmer. it'll be a 2025 X3 M50, so I can go down to my home state and pick it up. No ocean to cross. Help.
That’s weird, I ordered a X2 but the 28i version in Cape York Green with almost all the options back in in January when it was officially released for orders. ( I live in a congested metropolitan area of Southern California so the extra 70 horsepower of a 35i would be wasted and it saved me 10k) There was no trouble getting it from BMW’s end. I tracked it on the MyBMW app and it was built in 2 weeks but there is a worldwide backup in shipping. The car sat in Bremerhaven for six weeks waiting for a ship, got on the slow boat, stopped at Southampton, waited at the Panama Canal because of a water shortage at the locks, made it to Long Beach but there wasn’t a berth, so up to Port Hueneme. The car got unloaded then spent another week waiting for the truck to the dealer. I finally got it a week ago. Not the most attractive car I’ve owned but a really nice driver and superbly equipped. It is definitely an upgrade from my previous X1. I notice dealers here are getting just a trickle of X2’s in, and mostly 35i’s Still, the X3 is better and I would have gotten one but I have an undersized garage and my 530e and an X3 would not both fit. The X2 is just enough smaller to fit comfortably.
@@Palaemon44 Thanks for the good information... all of which confirms that I will never again order any vehicle that is not manufactured in the continental US. My last BMW, a 2018 silver fully-equipped X3 M40i, was built in the state where I lived, SC, and delivered to me on a single trailer since I decided, due to timing issues, not to pick it up at the Performance Center. Three months order-to-delivery, I seem to recall. We moved to PA in 2021, post-Covid, with a specially-built Outback Touring XT to better deal with the harsh winter, which never arrived. So my next BMW will likely be a full-boat X3 M50, redesigned enough hopefully, with the new iDrive 9 infosystem and displays, and a near 400HP engine. Plus quads, of course. We'll see soon. Your story about the logistics issues is too much for an impatient guy to handle. No wonder there are so few even 'lot-level' X2s in the US. Thanks again!

Simplemente CLASE A
God when 🤔🙏
If it’s exterior colour Nutella
Will it cost an arm and a leg and a kidney?
HAVAL H6 GT 😞😞😞😞no BMW signature , the only thing that will remind you that you driving a BMW is a bmw logo on the steering wheel
Does he have white gloves on? 😂 I love BMW but not like that. Definitely doing way too much..😂
Interiores feios, com a consola central desagradável e desconfortável. Hoje ninguém gosta dos BMW's só compram pela imagem da marca.
Terrible music 👎👎👎
Chinese cars will be more interesting
For you
you are way over your head
Not in this decade
Possibly the next
Ha Ha Ha!
Chinese makes better cats for better value for money
