Us city fans was celebrating when the goal hadn't been given which was why they announced Var checking dissallowed goal... i never even noticed flag go up, but watching it back it did... the linesman put flag up, ref didnt give it, then var cheeked and gave it.. rightly so, but cos people thought it was already given as a goal they was going to screen to disallow it when it was otherwise

I thought the same. Aside from the shots at goal, we were in numerous dangerous positions at the byline where if the quality of the delivery was better, we could have scored around 4/5. End product just wasn’t there yesterday.
We more or less bossed the game without really playing all that well, we had 18 corner kicks away from home which says it all about the possession we had really ..... Haaland was practically non existent , Doku willing but largely ineffective, but did play an important part in Gvardiols goal .... not the best game that Rico Lewis has had either, nor Gundogan, who still looks far from being the player that we once knew .... but somehow we came through a competitive match with a late, late winner, when moments earlier we had looked odds on to be dropping yet more league points, so we have to just be thankful for that, and move on.
Scenes .... that was a banana skin ... we were complacent today .. Pep should start us slightly more cautious when these countering teams are freshest at the start ...
