I have only seen it on tv and in photographs and much of it does not get to me. But the statue...she is unreal. Her dimensions are incredible. For example, her outstretched arm is so long that you could park a tractor trailer on it. I believe she is the largest non Buddah type statue in the world.

I think it represents well the price of people has to pay for defending liberty. It's sad though to know that while People of Soviet Union fought and died for freedom of their nation Stalin managed to hijack the whole soviet system just to serve himself. Im just glad that after Stalin died many people that surrounded him denounced him for his tyrannical action.

"Your name is unknown-your feat is immortal."It is written on the tomb of the Unknown soldier-a monument in Moscow, near the Kremlin wall. To date, several million unidentified soldiers and officers have been buried in mass graves. More than a million aren't even buried. In Russia every spring on the ground fighting special search teams continue to find and bury the remains of soldiers killed in the battles for the Motherland. It is possible to identify no more than 20% of cases.

YES big monuments that celebrate victory in war are usually more "impressive" than monuments that celebrate piddling things like peace, hope, opportunity, personal freedom, and liberty; especially to people with the mentality of a 12 year old. And WOW, sometimes the glorious symbol of "victory" has a gun or a sword and is riding a horsey!!!!(lol) Grow up...

@@GPSniper1 They'll all forget when they're told. Ukrainians are the most treacherous people of all Slavic. In World War II, Ukrainians fought most of all against their country. The most stupid, ignorant and controlled. That's why the enemy struck, through them. He changed the regime to Russophobic with the help of an unconstitutional coup, which was illegal. Interestingly, if Russia were to check this in Mexico, would it take a long time to wait for an answer? Do not succumb to propaganda, wherever there was US influence, there is death, devastation and destruction. Henry Kissinger wrote: "To be an enemy of America can be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal". That says a lot.

You invaded Ukraine, wanting to cut it off. While our soldiers were fighting on the fields of the civil war. Why don't you remember how you plundered Czechoslovakia together with Hitler in 1938?
