- I'd been planning for this day for 7 years. Ever since the first confirmed sightings. I had everything in place - safe shelter, provisions for months, and a plan for how we’d survive in case the worst happened. And yet, all my preparations went in vain.
On the day before we were to head down here, you were taken. The pain and loss I’ve been feeling since that day is unbearable. I created a home for us down here, but it feels like a void without you. I was prepared to face the apocalypse, but I didn’t know how to deal with the end of our story.
I don’t know what to do now. I’m down here in this bunker, surrounded by all of the things that we thought we would need to survive. But what’s the point of surviving if the person you love most in the world is gone?

Writing the plot for my dystopian book with this ambience ✨
finally, a saferoom/bunker with plenty of emergency food and water supply.
As the world turned to chaos, I found myself in a bunker far underground. I'd go out to scavenge for supplies every now and then, always on the lookout for danger, some days it was shamblers, other days it was bandits, honestly couldnt tell which was worse. I was careful and cautious, staying as undetected as possible. Those moments spent foraging for supplies were always nerve-racking, my heart pounding with every noise. Sometimes I'd catch my breath only to realize it was just me. The cold wooden stock of my shotgun always seemed to calm me though, ive only ever used it once, but I know it would be a quick death to whatever was at the end of the barrel, be it whatever horrors were above, or if in really dire situations, myself. But I always made it back in one piece, to my bunker, to the only place i feel safe, ready to face another day.
Not gonna lie the EAS at the beginning scared me. Great ambience ❤.

Its cool how the security monitors go out and never come back on. Its like.....what the hell happened out there...

I like it! I think some dim lights here and there would elevate whole atmosphere even more.
No idea what happened outside, I was in my bunker finishing uo everything as I had all the supplies in order when I heard all hell break loose outside. Thankfully the bunker entrance is hidden and I always make sure to close it all the way up behind me. Guess the world is over or something out there.
EVER SINCE I WATCHED THE MANDELA CATALOG THAT AMBER ALERT IS SCARY AS HECK!
You should give more attention to the lighting next time, it will give you a lot of atmosphere and depth of the room.
