Lots of talking and b-roll footage.
Materials: Watercolor Paint (Daler-Rowney, Cotman, Windsor and Newton, M. Graham, Mission Gold, Holbein, Daniel Smith, Qor), watercolor paper, washi tape.

Thank you!! It took forever, lol, so I'm glad people seem to enjoy it. It's been really helpful to have it hanging in my studio.

It's really cool to see that colors are in a color wheel order!!!

Thanks!! It helps me a lot when picking out my colors. Even if I accidently pick to wrong color it will usually work out fine because of the way it's organised.

Hi, Leigh. I've just discovered you and enjoyed watching this video. I've been expanding my watercolor brands. I used mostly Holbein for a couple of years but I've recently started palettes for M. Graham and Daniel Smith. I've been skeptical about Qor, but I'm beginning to think maybe they ARE as good as some people are saying? I haven't gotten the confidence to form a mixed-brand palette, yet, but I want to at some point. "Tape pulling for your pleasure" LOL I do like good tape-pulling action! * thumbs up *

In my opinion Qor is up there with all the other big brands like Daniel Smith, Schminke and M, Graham.
They are different in the way they handle so that's something to consider but they are very light fast using high quality pigments and extremely vibrant.
Because they are a newer line of Watercolor (they come from the same company that produces GOLDEN acrylics and Williamsburg oils) I think a lot people are wary of them but I'm sure if you give them a fighting chance you will be very impressed.

Thanks for sharing! I feel like a hoarder next to you tho! Never tried Qor or Holbein before, can you mix Qor with other paints (they use a completely different binder if I understand correctly)? By the way, Cadmium orange is one of my favorites, it works like magic with indanthrone blue.

Lol, the urge to buy ALL. THE. PAINT. is very real😂. I feel you there!
Yes, you can mix Qor Watercolor's with other watercolor brands. In fact I've heard of some artists who specifically like them for that reason. I love Qor because of their wild dispersion, their intense color saturation and pigment load (amongst other things).
      Thanks for the comment! 😊
