Happy Saturday! 🤗💕 I hope you're all having a great weekend so far! It's super windy here! I hope you love tiered trays as much as I do! ❤ I have never seen one I don't like especially when they are DIY'd! Please don't forget to check out Casey from Coffee With My Sunshine! You will fall in love with her channel! Thank you again for all of your kindness! I love you guys! 💕
They all turned out great! Especially the egg and the tray and beads. The wood thing is/was a pampered chef tool that they sold. It’s to push dough into the mini muffin tins used in some recipes. I used to have one.
Antiqued and flyspeck. That's what we used to call those paint techniques. You were good at it! I thought about making a tiered tray too. My sister-in-law had one on her dining room table a while back that was full of faux cherries and it was really cute. The cherries looked good enough to eat.
I have one those wooden things I got from pampered chef, you use it to press your brownie dough or cookie dough down in cupcake cup so you can add a filling into them
I think the tool is a tart roller. The little ball of pie dough is put into its section (kind of like a cupcake pan) and the balled ends are pressed against the dough to make a little tart crust and then baked for filling after cooling or filled for baking depending on the flavour of pastry.
April once again you created diy's that looks fantastic. The application of chalk paint on the succulents I liked especially. I think the wooden rod with 2 ends looks like some kind of spool.🌞
This tray and decor turned out super cute! I have to stay out of DT for awhile due to over crowding issues, my craft room is busting out the seams! 🤪😂 I say that because I really want to look for the trucks and little frames with succulents because they really are the perfect size for tiered trays! April pat yourself on the back for all the talent you have and how well you are doing with your channel...you deserve it!
Thank you so much Denise!!! 🤗💕 You're so sweet! That's so funny because I was just saying the same thing tonight....my craft room literally looks like a Dollar Tree hoarding room and I'm so done buying stuff for awhile! I just buy too much stuff I don't use! : (
The wooden thing looks like it is from Pampered Chef, I believe it is used to place a pie crust in the miniature muffin pans. I love watching your channel, thanks for sharing your talent.
Love the tiered tray it is awesome. I am going to give it a try. The paint effect is good. I also tried to copy Shannon with the buffalo check. She makes it look so easy, I need to practice. TFS look forward to more ideas. Jude from uk
I think it is maybe a pestle or for pressing the dough in small tarts. I don't know for sure though. I love tiered trays and yours are always amazing. I haven't seen those little trucks.
Melanie they were with the fairy stuff in my store but maybe your store doesn't have them yet. I just bought them a week ago. And thank you for saying you like my trays! 🤗💕
Love your techniques and the trucks turned out adorable! I love the egg too! Please tell me about the red cloche in the background. I have to know if you made it. It looks like a Dollar Tree candle holder on the bottom. I just really wanted to know what the cloche was made with. Thanks for sharing!!
My educated guess for the wooden object, is a cooking tamper. They are used for pie and tart crusts, if they are small enough 'Thumbprint Cookies' that type of thing. You could try using a make-up sponge April, to do the edges of your tins, they are much smaller, the angle is more conducive, and I find I just have better control. 😊
I LOVE your tiered tray! I took a screen shot to use as an example to make one, then saw the tray was one of your projects. Yay! I LOVE your eggs too. The stripes are so cute and the buffalo check is even cuter with the uneven lines. So cute!
Comimg from Casey’s channel. Everything turned out so pretty! You are very talented! You are right, Casey is amazing! I’ve worked with her before and she is a joy to work with! I am excited to be here and see more of your videos 😊💖
Aw thanks girl!!! 🤗💕 You are very talented too! Yes Casey is so inspiring to me and such a genuinely sweet person! I love collabing with her too! I hope you have a great Sunday! ☀️
Loved all the projects that you made. I have been wanting to make a tiered tray to put my perfume bottles. Your tray looks like it might work, just need to get the supplies.
Thank you so much Rita!!! 🤗💕 I hope your beads turn out cute! When I first started making them, they did not turn out good and it took me a lot of practice to get the paint smooth....so give yourself grace if they don't turn out perfect the first time ❤️
Good morning April I’ve made 2 of them one in white and moss but I love what you did they look amazing better than mind thank you for sharing you have a wonderful day 😊🌼
Hey, April! The little wooden rod that you used in your project is a "tamper"...made for pushing pie crusts into a mini cupcake pan, or for tamping down graham crackers into a pie plate. (This is what the Pampered Chef catalog says: A handy wooden tool that pats pastry, dough and wonton skins into wells of mini muffin pans. Also good for grinding herbs, etc.) I like your 3-tiered tray!
You are right! That's what a few other people said too! I would have never guessed in a million years that's what it was lol Thank you for letting me know! 🤗❤️
I love your tier tray, beads, and egg.. those were my favorite.. I found 2 perfect trays at the goodwill to make a tier tray... I think I will steal your idea.. thanks
I love all of these projects April! I also have a Dachshund, he's 13!! And a Golden Retriever, a Min Pin and a few old cats. Love my fur babies and Farmhouse decor. Tyfs!!
Thank you very much!!! 🤗❤️ Aw really? I have never seen a dachshund I didn't fall in love with! ❤️ mine has gone blind and it's so sad : ( she's ok but struggles and bumps into things constantly. I love animals and farmhouse too 💕
I believe it’s a tart tamper. I bought a couple off amazon to do a tray and didn’t know what it was at the time. Worked great for my tray! Love your diy’s. Great job!
April Adair Shares Hi April! It’s not made for a tray...I just thought it looked good to use for a tray. It’s really supposed to be used to make tarts. Look on amazon if you want to use them for any other trays in the future. 😃
Do you have a tutorial for the glass jar at the beginning? I love the beads and the tassel. Can you show us how you did the beads? They are worn looking. Love that
That rod with the two buttons on the ends is a mini tart tamper. I got mine from Pampered Chef. You put a ball of dough in a mini muffin pan and tamp it to make dough for a small pie - like pecan pie.
I love your tray, breads, little thank you and blessed signs. I love it all and it all looks very nice on the tray. I love how the paint turned out on the tray. See ya next time! 😊💜
I love your tiered tray! It's perfect and all your decorations that you put on it sets it off just right. I'm going to have to see if my Dollar Tree has any of the trucks left, they're adorable!
Hi Melinda! 🤗💕 Thank you! Everyone is saying its a dough presser for tarts? From a company called Pampered Chef. I guess it's used to stamp the middle of the dough.
Hello April, you surprise me every time your upload a video everything come up so beautiful, you are amazing, I saw the red trucks at my DT and pass it on, now I regret it ... yours look so cute let’s see if they re stuck soon my DT is under new management and Omg my store is stepping out of their game with their items, I have to go with a budget because is dangerous to spend so much 😆 thank you for sharing your ideas I’m so ready for spring... so gloomy here in New York until next time friend ⛄️❄️💕🙌🥰⭐️😍💞💓❤️

Hi April....your DIY tier tray turned out beautifully and I think you did a great job distressing it. Same with the beads. The mini tool you have is for tamping down pie crust into mini muffin pans and the like (I got mine from Pampered Chef). Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you’re having a great week. 🤗 #kindnessmatters
Thank you very much Maggie!!! 🤗💕💛 yes! That's what that thing is from pampered chef! Lol I had never heard of it! I hope you have a great night! take care! 😊👋
I love your tray. The feet on the bottom are such a cute idea. I like the wood thing on the top. The colors are terrific so subtle. I got a Cricut for Christmas also and haven’t tried it yet. I’m bad.

Thank you Cat!!! ❤️❤️
The wooden thing is for pressing cookie dough into mini muffin tins to make shells for tiny tarts. I live this diy. Thanks for posting this!
Those little trucks are rolling in the spring plants 😀 which I'm looking forward to.
❤️💖
You find the best things at your thrift store for so cheap! I wanna live where you do, lol.
Oh it’s hit and miss Vikki but thank you lol some days I don’t find anything. 🤗💕
They all turned out great! Especially the egg and the tray and beads. The wood thing is/was a pampered chef tool that they sold. It’s to push dough into the mini muffin tins used in some recipes. I used to have one.
Thank you Joanne!! 🤗💕 that's funny that so many of you guys know what it is and I literally would have never guessed that's what it was lol
I love it,thank you.
Thank you Billie! 🤗❤️
Your wooden dum bell is to make nut cups, you press your dough in a small muffin tin.
Yes! Like a tart press! I had no idea Sandy lol 🤗💕 i had never heard of that.
April you are by far my favorite, you are so creative and all the girls you collaborate with are also are so sincere like yourself. Keep em coming
Wow what a nice thing to say!!! 🤗💕 That makes me feel so good thank you! I like genuine people. ❤️
Excellent job on tray distressing. You have a very good eye for that!
Thank you very much!! 🤗💕 The nice thing is...you can always go back with white if you mess up which I do a lot lol
April, you did a great job making the two-tiered tray look like rustic enamel. The other projects are well done also.
Thank you Janet!!! 🤗💕 I appreciate you saying that! Happy Valentine’s Day! 💖
Antiqued and flyspeck. That's what we used to call those paint techniques. You were good at it! I thought about making a tiered tray too. My sister-in-law had one on her dining room table a while back that was full of faux cherries and it was really cute. The cherries looked good enough to eat.

Yes Moneta!! That's what a few people said too! I had no idea lol 🤗💕

@@AprilAdairShares You are very welcome.
Great tutorial. The painting tip on the skewers for the beads is genius. Your presentation is so well-paced and easy to follow.
I think the tool is a tart roller. The little ball of pie dough is put into its section (kind of like a cupcake pan) and the balled ends are pressed against the dough to make a little tart crust and then baked for filling after cooling or filled for baking depending on the flavour of pastry.
