@@DrMetman I used to be in Treasures, don't know if they changed the name or not again, that was back in Planes of Power really, then I played till about a month or so ago but my guild tag was just a self-made one so I could use the guild portal and banks. I'm usually very friendly in game and leave people alone lol.
This video probably wasn't necessary after all, so many boxers, almost nobody cares about your typical boxer running around killing stuff, its the far taunting warping ones that are attracting lots of attention but even then not really being touched by GMs
@@vanman2099 I did some testing on Emarr and the double dots just ate stuff up. I stopped at aound 40 and played a war sham cleric on michief to 75 and just got burned out trying to catch up lol. So far behind in gear and AA starting that late and another xpac in a few weeks. I dipped deep into my KR reserve on gear lol. I need to look at the rules on Oak to see if its a true box or can use multiple on one cpu.
Here is the best way to avoid being banned for multiboxing on Oakwyn....by avoiding this horrible server that no one asked for and not giving them money for horrible company decisions.
@@hanksack16 Sure. The first to engage system which the server promoted as the key point is not working at all on Beta, can be exploited to train people with ease, and is just 100% broken. Multiple videos on TH-cam and the forums about it. (Forum post is up to 200 pages). Second, 98% of EQ players do one of tow things. Play 1 character exclusively, or box on multiple accounts. Almost no one plays "alts" on the same account. The server bonuses ONLY effect alts on the same account, and they dont get good until you have 5+ at max level on one account. NO ONE DOES THAT. So everything that has been posted as perks of the server, targets a very small audience. Also the release times for expansions are very long and that has always lead to dead servers after PoP.

I only play one character, I don't box and I love the expansions starting from Omens to Live, where there is NO KSing anymore. I aviod Classic-Pop because its been done a billion times. Im upset because I am tired of servers that have no chance of having a real population after PoP because they do nothing to support them and only focus on the first 6 months to maximize their bag sales. I could care less if FTE is good for the game or bad, it doesn't effect me. What effects me is when the main thing you promote isnt working at all, it dooms the server from the start and slowly dies, so its a WASTE of time to even play as it wont get to where I enjoy the game anyways. Last years server, Vaniki, was the same way..big promises, zero support, dead after 6 months. And I mean dead, there is only one guild on the server and only around 80 players during primetime. Hence why I am upset because I devoted a lot of time to that server just to watch it die. And the devs are doing the samething here. Just to compare, the Vaniki server thread had around 38 pages before it's launch. The Oakwynd server has around 212 and counting. So I guess there are just a bunch of KSing players in EQ and those are the only ones that aren't happy with Darkpaws product being served to us.
I generally hate boxxers. They imho ruin the social experience of what this game was. I understand wanting the pocket healer and stuff, but still. I miss the old days where finding a grp wasnt made more difficult by the fact people multi box and hold camps. I refuse to multi box because i really want the old experience, not to play with a buntch of bots. If I wanted a solo experience I'd play WoW or FFXIV.
It's tough, Boxers are probably half the subscriptions or more and a big reason the game is still going, there are a lot of my favorite games I wish I could go back and play again for the experience but most are dead or on private servers now with 3 people.

@@darkwulf2k I do break down to one for grouping when needed. I just like the option as doing quest and epics is easier with 2 plus i can assist others. I true box and I know how bad the software boxers can get holding zones and mobs hostage.
You ARE cheating if you are multiboxing outside the rules on Oakwynd or any other server with boxing limits. You can multibox to your hearts content long as they are all on separate PC's and just cause you're running 5 following your main isn't going to result in a ban if done within the rules.
Lol I think they’re pretty light on the bans, they usually do sweeping 7 days every expansion unlock or if someone reports you but there’s a high chance of people crying on a new server launch

I boxed from day one a warrior / cleric over 20 years of it so boxing is not new.

Too many non boxers are lazy or incompetent. Some of us turn to boxing after years of dealing with terrible pick up groups.
