      Very true. Hakka styles use this a lot. It is probably one of my favorite training tools that many don't know about.

    master greetings, it is good to see you. I have a small question how can i make a pair of those rings?

    • @sixmonkeymartialarts
      @sixmonkeymartialarts  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a good question. If you're able to forge then I would think you could forge some brass into a ring and smooth it out with a grinder. But that is not my expertise. Check out the link below, that's who I use for my rings and equipment. Best of luck with your training.

      There aren't many convenient way of making good rings. You can forge round stock around a mandrel, or use a bending form, a bending fork, or a scroll form. Otherwise this kind of thing would be made on the horn of an anvil.
      You need proper blacksmithing tools to make something like this. A stump anvil that you hammer into an old tree stump or a post in the ground would probably be the simplest cheapest setup to make these.
      Maybe a farrier anvil or a railroad tie anvil would work too. It mostly comes down to having a round steel form that you can anchor in place and comfortable bang out a rang on is what the requirement is.
