Clarification at 32:49. The officers did NOT search the residence. They cleared it and secured the scene while they processed the warrant. At that time, Mario gave up the location of the backpack willingly. Also, The "refusal to allow a search" was not the reason he was arrested. He was arrested because of the evidence found in the trash and the discovery of the backpack in open view within the residence.
Yep. As I said in other takes to this, Mario was the smart sibling, while Chertisha was scared shitless at being caught and so she resorted to violence and threats, as well as her being a repeat offender/frequent flyer with the police system.
It's a thin line though, entering the residence wasn't worth it when they could of just got a warrant pretty easily with the evidence they did have. If for some reason they were innocent, the police would of had a very hard time over this interaction which is why they shouldn't of done it this way, they were fortunate they were guilty. The police "cleared" the home, but they didn't have probable cause to do that. Claiming a smell is a weak point, really would of only been a strong reason if they believed someone to be in immediate danger.
She definitely knew what was up. He reacted chill and calm, didn't resist arrest etc. She on the other hand came out guns blazing, verbally, and escalated the situation. She might have nothing to do with the stolen backpack, but I bet she knew about the weed. Wouldn't be surprised if that was actually hers.
The guy is so worried about the guy who tried to run him off the road (presumably speeding in a school zone), but has not a care for brandishing a firearm and putting the school on Code Red.
I love how the one guy threatens the deputies and then immediately goes to "wait i was kidding" Whats unsuprising and really annoying is how much these guys try to maintain control. "Tell me what I did first and ill open the door" (after hes already been told dozens of times)
He was drunk, in his own home, they were called about a noise complaint, they got him to end the noise and it should’ve ended there, cops should be much better than a drunk man, that’s why his only charge was for attempting to bribe the officer and it was dropped, they wasted time, they wasted money, and they old dude should definitely receive some type of training in anger management,
@@robertvera9205 has nothing to do with any of it. So many times you hear the words "he was drunk" like it is an excuse to act like an idiot. Literally the first thing he does when he opens the door is sling threats of physical violence towards law enforcers. In my eyes, there is no worse excuse than "i was drunk" because it is almost like a get-out-of-jail-card. Obviously a lot of the times, it does nothing for you, but there is also a lot of times when it does. Like my mothers ex-boyfriend who tried to assault her, smashed her car window with his bare fists, and was trying to stop her from leaving with walking out on the road to block her, but he "got off" because he was so drunk he doesn't even remember getting picked up by the cops that took him. Like how is that an plausible excuse for being an idiot that should still be in jail? And i know that a "small" mistake (depending on the situation) should not ruin your entire life because of what you did while you were drunk, but it does, and it also can ruin other peoples lives because of your "small mistake" while being drunk. so, in my honest, unasked, opinion. Drunk people should get no leeway. none at all. Like how a drug like weed can be illegal, where the only person you're a threat to is the fridge and the snackshack, while daydrinkers and the like literally throw violence around, drives under influence, and even worse crimes that has been commited while being drunk. I guess there is laws about public intoxication is there for a reason in the states that have those, idk i am not an american.
As a person who took Criminology, Criminology does not teach you laws. It is more about criminal psychology and is similar to sociology. What he is actually talking about is Criminal Justice.
I love how the first dude is saying they don't have permission and then precedes to give them permission whenever he tells them to "come in here" repeatedly.
I tread the cops as my bros I just salute them talk to them and reason non-hostile always with a smile they even offer my gum or ride home when I have been walking intoxicated I know if I was still "ghetto" because i'm hispanic I would have been thrown in jail many times but I changed my ways ages ago and figured out the only enemy was ME!
Wow, imagine pulling a gun on someone AT A EFFING SCHOOL in this day and age and expect no repercussions. Oh and, doing this with your child present too! Dad of the year award right there!
That first guy, and Mario's sister are 2 great examples of when an alligator mouth is operated by a hummingbird brain. Thanks for watching this 5-part episode of "Immeasurable Stupidity". A special thanks to Florida for their seemingly ENDLESS contributions to all the cop cam videos.
I fully agree that those two are prime examples of pointlessly rude people... but that's not a crime and the officers just simply abuse their power and ignore people's rights. In the first example the guy screams that *if* the officer should violate his rights by coming into his home without a warrant, there will be consequences. The officer knows full well that this is *not* a threat if he abided by the law, but he intends from the beginning to violate that right, so automatically he perceives it as a real threat... that's why he arrests the guy for threatening him. The second example is a girl also assuming her brother has a right for his home not be searched without a warrant, that's why she gets mad when the officers find a BS excuse (like they always do) to ignore that right. So they arrest her vor resisting arrest, which is mindbogglingly inconsistent with basic rights... but it is what it is in the US... what she's convicted and punished for is her genuine anger issues after she has been wronged... I'd be angry too, but she takes it to another level and has no self control... still, seeing this footage as a non-American I now understand why people really dislike the police and say things like abolish it etc... edit: just to be clear on the second example, the police had a genuine reason to go in - the evidence that there is stolen property inside via the tracking technology - so they didn't violate that dude's right, that's not what I'm arguing. They violated his sister's rights by arresting her for arguing with a loud angry voice. come to think of it, even though they had a potentially valid reason for going in with a warrant, they used the quicker excuse to get around his rights (unfalsifiable "smell", they can always say that or "disturbing the peace" etc, they have several options they apparently use on the regular).
Florida's Sunshine Law allows for all these videos to be public. Most states restrict the footage. That's why there's so many Florida videos. Wisconsin must have some form of a sunshine law too, because a lot of these are from there as well.

It is truly astonishing how many people escalate these situations so quickly, at times raising very simple misdemeanors to multiple felonies. Then again, in the heat of the confrontations different people will react differently, which is still not an excuse. As to the road rage incident, I, too, may have been extremely pissed off that the other driver was nowhere near the traffic stop.

The first video is literally “fuck around and find out”. I will never understand why people do this kind of stuff. I worked a job where I dealt with the police on a regular basis; and I always showed them respect.
I'm watching this from Poland and even though I'm not educated in law, I'm amazed at how different our legal systems are. On the one hand, the police in the USA can use weapons in many more cases than in our country, but this is due to the fact that we have fewer weapons (you can have them, but you have to go through a certain process to obtain a permit). On the other hand, I see how these people talk to the police because they can. Well, in our country, a policeman is a representative of the nation and, like every public service, he is, in a sense, an extension of its majesty. Therefore, insulting a policeman results in a fine or a year in prison. Of course, they turn a blind eye if you say something out of emotion, but they don't have to.
Same thing here in Portugal. If too many people have guns, police enforces guns use and criminals will get more guns to fight back. If less people have guns then the fields are more leveled. And people respect the officers, trust comes first to our minds because we are not hiding anything and we will need them much more than fear them.
@@alastor8091 well, definitely not in that sense. you can say whatever you want as long as you don't insult anyone (even an ordinary civilian). but this is quite soft and subject to court interpretation (we have no law of precedent). “We’re Florida. We’re always weird.”
Even the Cop admits it 😂😂😂
I just wanted to say this is the first video I've ever stopped and actually hit the like button on for anything. Thought it was super cool you adjusted the volume at points so hundreds of thousands of viewers didn't have to do it quick. Very smart and thank you!!
I'm not even sure Mario had anything to do with the theft because he was so chill
@@moshking6749 Yeah. I bet Chertisha just used him to store the stolen goods.
If this is how the father behaves, I can only imagine the behavior the school has put up with from his son.
Imagine his behavior to his son…
A lot of the times the kid is fine and it's just the parents. I would know since I was a kid with a mother who acted like that.
The guy is so worried about the guy who tried to run him off the road (presumably speeding in a school zone), but has not a care for brandishing a firearm and putting the school on Code Red.
They’re FROM New York, it’s how they behave! We’ll, talk. You heard that
that's a completely unfair assessment, children shouldn't be judged because of their parents idiocy.
Thank you so much on behalf of my ears and my speakers.
thank u SO MUCH for lowering down the volume, im autistic and would suffer A LOT with the normal volume
i really appreciate it
I love how the one guy threatens the deputies and then immediately goes to "wait i was kidding"
Whats unsuprising and really annoying is how much these guys try to maintain control. "Tell me what I did first and ill open the door" (after hes already been told dozens of times)
He was drunk, in his own home, they were called about a noise complaint, they got him to end the noise and it should’ve ended there, cops should be much better than a drunk man, that’s why his only charge was for attempting to bribe the officer and it was dropped, they wasted time, they wasted money, and they old dude should definitely receive some type of training in anger management,
@robertvera9205 he threatened physical violence against a woman and the officers that's literally assault.
@@robertvera9205 Where did you live? it's Florida
Just a prank, bro.
As a person who took Criminology, Criminology does not teach you laws. It is more about criminal psychology and is similar to sociology. What he is actually talking about is Criminal Justice.

This is why modern men don't want to date women like this.....mouth will get them jailed
@@lynettemarszal5923the first guy look like a man to me
I fully agree that those two are prime examples of pointlessly rude people... but that's not a crime and the officers just simply abuse their power and ignore people's rights.
Mario’s sister was fine as hell!
Florida's Sunshine Law allows for all these videos to be public. Most states restrict the footage. That's why there's so many Florida videos. Wisconsin must have some form of a sunshine law too, because a lot of these are from there as well.

“All charges were dropped.”
And THAT’S why everything sucks so hard right now.
Well dude got evicted and lost his job...you gotta take the small victories
It is truly astonishing how many people escalate these situations so quickly, at times raising very simple misdemeanors to multiple felonies. Then again, in the heat of the confrontations different people will react differently, which is still not an excuse. As to the road rage incident, I, too, may have been extremely pissed off that the other driver was nowhere near the traffic stop.
14:41 thank you sm for turning it down had it at full blast at the time and still almost made me deaf
loved the first guy saying "prove it in court." he's so close to being right. the prosecutors will prove his guilt in court after the officer has arrested him because he's found a reason to arrest him.

I've noticed something surprising from having watched SO MANY Body Cam & True Crime channels.
When I see civilians/criminals flat out lying (poorly) and then becoming SUPER obnoxious, whiny, and aggressive when their lies aren't immediately treated as 'gospel truth' I no longer respond with;
'SERIOUSLY?! HOW CAN PEOPLE BEHAVE THIS WAY?!'
Like I did when I first started watching these videos.
Instead I now find myself thinking;
'Yep. Here's another person just abandoning all their dignity to try and get out of this situation. I guess this is just how people are deep down when confronted.'
Anybody else experience that?
I wonder if cops go through the same thing over their careers? Surely they must.
It sends my blood pressure shooting up less and less frequently. Sadly.

No freedom of speech in Poland?
@@alastor8091 well, definitely not in that sense. you can say whatever you want as long as you don't insult anyone (even an ordinary civilian). but this is quite soft and subject to court interpretation (we have no law of precedent). Usually you have to apologize, e.g. in the newspaper or something. oh, and you can't promote totalitarian systems like Nazism and communism (we have sweet neighbors on both sides and both systems killed enough of our citizens in the years '39-'89).
