Better Offline is a weekly show exploring the tech industry’s influence and manipulation of society - and interrogating the growth-at-all-costs future that tech’s elite wants to build.
Combining narrative-form storytelling, one-on-one interviews and panel-based discussions, Better Offline cuts through the buzzwords and obfuscation of the tech industry, investigating and evaluating the schemes and scams of everyone from cryptocurrency scumbags to the greediest of the venture capital elite. Tech industry veteran Ed Zitron and a dynamic coterie of guests will help listeners understand the who, how and why of how tech’s most powerful players are changing the world - for better or for worse.
New episodes weekly on iHeartRadio.

I love how quickly this got out of hand and also how it just kept getting further and further out of hand for seventy-three solid minutes.
😂 By the end it really does fly straight off the rails!
Love this format it's like an even nerdier episode of full-cast Chapo. Love the cynicism and sincerity. And its hilarious.
please make this a regular occurrence. It's a lot of fun to listen to!
My fav takeaway: the televisions can fold, but still the laundry can't.
On the TVs breaking topic, I still have an enormous 1080p plasma TV from 20 years ago at home, I don't use it often, but it still works perfectly without any issues.
Same! I have one of the very last Panasonic Plasma TVs that was available in the US. I'm terrified to replace it with something that will be worse. I don't watch enough TV to justify buying anything anyways.
In my family, we had a hand mixer made in Communist East Germany. It lasted 36 years of heavy regular use and even then, it was just the whisker part that eventually broke. The motor of the thing was still going.
I don't usually like chat podcasts like this but I actually loved this format for this show. Excited for the rest of the week!
Hell yeah you should keep doing these style episodes. Good blend of tech topics and bullshitting with the homies.
This episode is like being sober in a bar.
At the end of the event, you should issue an L. Ron Hubbard Technology Award to your fave booth.
Love all you guys. Can’t wait! Keep it up!
Just amazing listening to a group of vloggers dropping a duce on AI. Please pull the silver handle for a full AI send. 🚽
sometimes I close my eyes and pretend Ed is actually John Oliver
I love love love this shit, never have I seen a group of people collectively roasting AI so hard this could be it's own little butlerian jihad..... Ed
Zitronian Jihad
I think journalists are also dreading the annual CES flu at CES, even before they get it
4 videos in 1 day? Don't forget to sleep
I feel like Steve from Gamers Nexus is pessimistic enough to be a great guest, although the channel mostly leaves politics out of the coverage except for right to repair and import duties
Since when is Las Vegas "beautiful"? It's an eyesore.
This is the dumbest my comments will ever get. Next time, I'll do better.

HW Unboxed are also maybe pessimistic enough and they don't mind having a bad relationship with tech brands (Asrock). But again, politics
The biggest issue with getting them in is time. They rarely have spare time at CES, they have booths to visit, interviews to film, and videos to make.
