I think base Mav is stronger than base Cap but whatever transformation with his delusion that I’m sure he has probably makes him stronger than her base. From what I understand too there’s a shortage of pyro elemental energy in Natlan so most likely she isn’t utilizing the Archon powers in this battle or if she is then it’s minimal as she wouldn’t be able to use its full power, I mean Traveler can’t even connect to the statues because of this shortage. A shortage for Natlan is certainly a shortage for her. Not to mention the Flame is probably the true Archon Authority and contains most of the Authorities power making Natlan Archons extensions of that power as opposed to vica versa - basically implying of all the Archons technically Pyro Archons are the only ones who don’t possess the full power of an Archon since most of the power is in the Flame that holds off the abyss and collects the collective belief/will of the people! Oh and she attempted a resurrection too that same day. So many Cap fans think he was just holding back and can’t possibly have truly lost and though I do think he was testing the waters it’s pretty obvious to me when they mentioned the top 3 Harbs being as powerful as the Gods they meant Gods in general but not Archons. It would lose its meaning if an Archon so easily scaled to just normal humans without some special condition and I think for Mav the special condition really is the Flame taking most of the power even regardless of her predicament she and her country are in. And it’s obvious too. Archons can create and chuck mountains with their powers meanwhile Mav could probably only hope to destroy a hill with how much fire she was producing as an Archon. A fully fledged Archon should be able to do such a thing easily. If anything Mav should have been beyond Cap IF she did possess the full authority. @@SterlingLacaden You are so right, cap fans are just saying whatever fulfills their delusions and their biased opinions, and mainly because they want him to win so bad but forget that archons are NOT gods, they are above gods, and just because the top 3 can be COMPARED to gods doesn't mean they can be compared to archons, as seen in the fight with Raiden and La, raiden demolished her without even trying, same with nahdiah when she took scara's gnosis, the fatui simply are not on their level, mavukia may be the archon of natlan by title but remember, she was a mortal who ascended to archon, meanwhile cap is the strongest mortal, difference, Archon>Strongest Mortal, and somehow some don't understand it, i've been waiting for people to realize the strength of an archon, and I will always use nahdia as an example case she mopped scara who was a fatui.

Admittedly La wasn’t that strong BUT I’d argue it is still a feat to be able to kill the 8th Harbinger in one strike by not Raiden herself and instead her puppet that she created to be God level. People forget that Raiden killed Oroboshi and split an island and the energy shot off and reached another island AND it left the sliced island with what is the magical equivalent to Nuclear Fallout. Raiden is on another level as just a god and is beyond all other character besides Zhongli and Neuv who are all probably equal in level (Zhongli probably is the best defense, Raiden best offense, and Neuv is probably somewhere inbetween). People want Cap to be able to kill an Archon cause he’s the strongest man alive and I think they think he represents all the human men of Teyvat but I dont get why any man would realistically naturally get to above an Archons level and if they could it wouldn’t make being an Archon special whatsoever. It’s pretty clear to me too that Mavuika probably is lacking the pyro gnosis either way since she’s dealing with a pyro energy shortage YET if she had a gnosis she could have used it to power the Flame, something I’m sure since it has been described as a battery. Even if she can’t put the power into it directly it means she could have used it to refuel herself, further solidifying Cap’s loss and fixing the problem setup in the story. But clearly she doesn’t which makes me think she doesn’t have it or cannot use it for whatever reason, just yet another nerf to her power in this fight!!!
