Been building it to be a conformist, and only on my Zilean have I seen it work amazingly. Bard is hit or miss, but Zilean can play super front to back with it and you can lock down an enemy carry with E and double Q like a malz ult
Bard isnt really that much of an item oriented champ so dont expect items to do all the work
I build it on Lillia because she goes in an out of fights and builds Liandry and Riftmaker for health scaling
not building warmogs on soraka? i thought that was her core item for years now lol

Not really, people that built warmogs on her usually are inexperienced soraka players who can't hit Q constantly
@@kauanjos3199 Idk man, in higher elo hitting Q is also less reliable. And in late game scenarios, being able to essentially provide the warmogs passive to your team between 2 skirmishes can be huge

Warmogs is actually as good as it's hyped up to be, but it's really at it's best on champs like Thresh, Renata, Rakan, and Zilean, champions who accel at controlling the course of teamfights. On champs like Naut, Rell, and Leona, though, I think Zeke's first into Warmogs is honestly better and gives you a bit more agency in the early skirmishes for a cheaper price point. Enchanters building Warmogs sounds like a goddamn joke, but if you get ahead, the sheer HP value will give you a far greater uptime in teamfights.
I feel like for any other enchanter it definitely is a joke but on Soraka?, I feel like things get a lot more nuanced because for her it provides more than just survivability it also turns her into more or less a health battery and negates the negative of her having to damage herself to heal teammates, what I will say though is it isn't black and white where it is always a must pick or just a trash item either, it depends on the overall team composition on both sides as well as current game state when you have the opportunity to potentially build it at all, I can only speak for myself but if I build it on her it is usually 3rd or even 4th item and on a support budget that means pretty late in the game in the majority of cases. I would never recommend someone rush it as you need the health to trigger the passive to begin with and actual enchanter items are just far more cost effective and impactful early game but if you find that team fights end up being dragged out longer and you are healing to your max health capacity pretty consistently in team fights I feel like the argument can be made that you need the survivability from the regen passive to also keep the team alive longer because once your out of health from healing everyone else that's it, your pretty much useless in that fight as if you try and go for a Q in those circumstances your more likely to just die trying, same with E honestly depending on circumstance of how many allies vs enemies remain standing. I feel like most people should know this by now but a huge interaction to note is that Soraka's heals do not interrupt the warmogs passive and often the health regen is fast enough for you to be back to full pretty quickly assuming you can stay in the back line without actively fighting an enemy, just healing when needed, In these scenarios without a warmogs you might as well just leave and press b if your on so little health you cant heal anymore and would get 1 shot anyways but of course that won't stop you from being flamed for it if you don't just die with the team lol.
That being said if you have a hyper carry that is doing even fairly well then teamfights should be over more quickly anyways and your main priority should be to enable them to deal the dps and provide peel and heals to the best of your ability in which case more burst healing will be more valuable than the warmogs passive, and if the enemy team has multiple threats to your own safety as in more than 1 champion that is likely to dive into the backline then the added tankiness from warmogs from my experience often isn't enough for you to survive that anyways and then again your priority should be peel, either for yourself but primarily for the adc or mage teammate your likely to have with you in the back line and then the ideal scenario is you do your job well enough to keep them alive and then the rest of the teamfight goes more smoothly with the divers out of the picture and the dps still alive.
I feel like warmogs Soraka is best against a team that has a lot of poke and less burst damage and a game that is again dragging on, warmogs on soraka in general is going to be a late game, maybe sometimes late-midgame item anyways and you should be able to identify how teamfights have been going by then and from there identify which is more beneficial that game specifically but again at least in my experience the games seem to be mostly decided at that point anyways and many games end before I can think of building it to begin with. To summarize I think it can viable on Soraka specifically but not on other Enchanters and only as a late game option due to just how expensive it is and it shouldn't be a priority item on her unless the matchup is such that the warmogs is actually a huge powerspike, staying on the map longer to keep up a push into the nexus and not get 1 shot when scouting for vision are big in the late game and while it may not be the best in every game I feel like I can't deny it just feels good on her and I feel like it's definitely more viable on her than other enchanters.

The only reason why Warmogs isn't completely broken is it has 2 horrendously bad item components. Same is true with Bandleglass but that's only one component and combine cost of enchanter items is cheaper as well. So sure you lose out vs full item enchanters but Giants belt+2 ruby crystals beats kindlegem+bandleglass any day of the week despite being 100g cheaper.
I often built warmogs on Soraka and had actually a lot of fun with it. The passive of Warmogs does not get interrupted by the damage you take from healing and you become pretty much a health battery that does not run out. Do you think this makes it viable on Soraka?
It's always been viable on soraka. But as a second item, I feel it's not that great as first item
for me, 100%. had great success with it.
I use it on Senna support and it works very well in low elo, as long as you know you're more of a damage enabler than a carry when you're also building Black Cleaver and/or Bloodsong, but against assassins and BoRK builders you have to have Bone Plating and Celestial Opposition.

Renata loves being able to play more aggressively and dosent really lose value from not building traditional enchanter items due to her (very) poor ap ratios, allowing more value out of her q and making enemies focus your adc over you, allowing you to focus your bailout on them instead.
Well, soraka heal take up her own health, that’s why warmogs is so good on her

Zilean is feeling great with warmog. 2x 99% slow and full health after 10 secs or so, very oppressive
according to keria renata builds it to,
saying locket on engage tanks is mediocre just goes to show how little people actually understand about eHP and team fighting, no one gives a shit if you end up dying as an engage tank but having 300hp on your squishies literally turns fights by itself, these types of champs only need to be tanky enough to use their whole kit, they don't need to be stat checking anyone

Warmogs is basically mandatory on Soraka. Her low cd on W makes up for the slight lack of an enchanter item. You should build is 2nd all times.

Warmogs on Zilean might be the worst thing i've ever laid my eyes upon. No AH and expensive af...
Yet most if not all challenger/GM Zileans and OTPs build it exclusively… yikes they must all be wrong bro!
@@user-gl3jn9cp1b There’s plenty of high elo Zil’s who agree with me, one challenger Zil top/mid OTP is ”TheDisconnect”. Freaking pro players fumble their builds every game and so can everybody else.

all Zilean otps build warmog just admit you’re wrong it’s not hard
it been one of his best builds for a while... it helps with the quality of the bombs by letting him dance in and out of fights.
plus Zilean with bulky items like Locket, Redemption that enabled him to survive is because it allows him to more consistently ult people other then himself...
it's just really good on him and easily on of his best items.
