It has the feel of a pop record like Get Down On It but to my ears is much sweeter and infectious and not as overplayed.
Well if you lived in Europe or UK back when the track was released, you would not have missed it in the clubs. I doubt the single version was played much, except when it hit the Dutch Top 40 in November 1983. It was a huge floorfiller in 1984 in Europe. There is even a Canadian pressing. Shame it didn't hit the US dance charts. Still a groovy track though.

Get It On was a top 40 radio hit in The Netherlands, it became a bigger hit in the clubs around Europe in late 1983 and in 1984. But it didn't get much further. After Get It On, his other singles didn't hit the charts and where neglected by the public. He didn't get the credit he deserved. Quite a shame because Henk Braaf is still a talented and gifted guitar player that also knows how to sing and make music.
