She will be at the heart of any stage she enters. Your followers and hers will be grateful for your words, what you think of her efforts.

Searching the online tour dates list, Ian, all I could find for Deep Purple concerts in Massachusetts circa 1969-'71 was at the Music Hall in Boston: June 3, 1971/Boston, Music Hall - Massachusetts, and July 12, 1972, at the Boston Garden.

Please please please master, you MUST answer this question!
This is a tale that I started telling almost 40 years ago. I used to brag - telling my high school friends that I admire Deep Purple - that ''the drummer is so fast, he once drummed on a coin against a wall so fast that the coin didn't even fall''.. SO IS THIS TRUE??
I planned to ask you about it sometime, and BOOM, here you had a story about coins..
Thanks for everything, Ian Paice, Dror, Israel.

He was known to promoters as Sly 'No Show' Stone. @ 69-70 he canceled over 20 of 80 shows, on July 27, 1970, the band was supposed to do a make up free concert from the band to the city of Chicago to make up for more than one last-minute no-shows. The concert was at Grant Park, Sly's no show again touched off a riot that injured 162 people, including 126 police officers. Thirty of those officers were hospitalized. Some stories say Sly was there but refused to take the stage because of the crowd size or suddenly wanting money, who knows, when another act went on the crowd started freaking, they ended their set and the Flying Burrito brothers were getting ready and SNAP, the crowd went nuts.

Pilsen is originally Czech beer .... there are 3 types of it:
    1) Czech Pilsen (made in the town Pilsen ) = has a golden colour, it´s more bitter and has the highest amount of hop
    2) type : is german pilsen type - it´s lighter hay colour, mildy bitter flavour ... a middle amount of hop
    3) type : european type of Pilsen: sweet flavour , the lowest amount of hop

Ian, there's a Japanese kid prodigy called Yoyoka whose TH-cam channel has been going since 2016 or so, when she was just 7 years old. She's done drum covers of all sorts of stuff in that time, but just a couple of days ago covered her first Paice track ("Burn"), at the tender age of 11. Take a look (th-cam.com/video/uhzX9QbH3js/w-d-xo.html), I'm sure we'd all like to hear your reaction . . .

Ian for the bands next and last album. 😂😂😂 Would love to see the band delve into a heavier progressive metal venture in conjunction with the progressive Rock elements, Steve can rip and Shred like Michael Romeo, Don could change to a Roland syth for those elements, your drumming is perfect for this style of music and Rogers bass playing, and even over 70 Ian Gillans vocals still rock, and this slight sea change in style would blow people away. 👍

  • @yinoveryang4246

So that's what Lemmy was always up to with the slot machines! Probably nostalgic. Brings it home how relatively poor a musical life was in those days. The greatest bands all paid their dues again and again, before becoming good. None of them got a big fat cheque at the start of their career. Not until the 80's, when tragically the record companies became so dumb they decided to give those cheques to raw potatoes with synthesisers.
