i absolutely love this song, it’s definitely my favorite of the album (probably with entrancing). i read somewhere that the lyrics talk about their trainee days, i’m not sure if it’s true but it makes a lot of sense. this song has a very comforting and hopeful feeling.
I totally get what you mean Aaron, the arrangement of parts in Starlight is quite different. But forget about technicals, I remember when heard it the first time, I was like dancing through out the front part, and getting emotional from Dami & Handong's English part, and at the ending, I'm practically sobbing...whatever they did it finishes amazingly, this song is more like a journey.
Notes: 1. Violets and greys really suit you ngl 💯💯 2. You can really see if he likes the song or not hahahahaha 3. There are a LOT of harmonies here in Starlight, that's why it went 📈📈 my favorites list 4. Handong really improved vocal-wise, even just comparing to BEcause era 💕💕

Im surprised to hear him say that. I thought Damis part where she came off the power vocal before so relaxed and subdued was perfect. It was the best part of the song. It made me come back time and time again. And I had also thought, what would I call that part ..Post chorus? Anyway, songs like this are what really make me think Wow, there really is a great advantage to have multiple singers. Much more with Dreamcatcher than others like Twice who are Phenomenal. And yes everyone else sings beautifully all the time which made the way Dami bringing it down so special.
The only wrong with these song is that its too short for me in the end i feel like they missed a thrid part of the song but like you said its very nice and chillin how it ends actually. I just want to hear them more 🥺
