Renegade and rock bottom are definitely missing in this list. 2 great songs, one for the rapping insane quality, the other for the emotional part of the young Eminem.
I would never have said that, but actually you are right, I think that song gave me more of an emotional reaction than possibly any other song ever. Even little lines like the kids who 'post pin up pictures on their walls all day long, idolise their favourite rappers and know all their songs'.. its not especially deep, insightful, and nothing too lyrically impressive, but anyone who grew up as one of those kids FELT those bars. And the fact that Eminem himself was once one of those kids just made it even more powerful. Then when he explained 'that's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and hold it because we consider these minutes golden', it made you feel how much it all meant to him. If you compare it to the first verse of 'Juicy' for example, probably the most famous example of that kind of idea, Biggie is my personal favourite of all time, but Em just did it better, Biggie got my hyped, but Em gave me legit goosebumps and in case you can't tell, I am still getting goosebumps remembering that verse even as a grown man decades later.
Just this shows how amazing Curtain Call was. That album has SOOOO much replay value i still listen to it to this day. I personally would have moved Superman on as well as Shake That. Lose Yourself was my #1 and my #2 would have been Til I collapse as well. Toy Soldiers is SOOOOO undervalued here too. Man... just shows how much of a God Em truly is. Its so hard to rank his greatest hits and so many were left off. Insane. Love it.

Really cool idea man. First, it's crazy to me what songs aren't even in the Top 32!! 'Darkness?!,' 'Guilty Conscience?!,' 'Marshall Mathers?!,' 'Criminal?!,' 'Just Lose It?!,' 'Crack A Bottle?!,' 'No Love?!'....'Patiently Waiting?!' Not to mention some of my personal favorites: 'My Fault,' 'Kill You,' 'Who Knew,' 'Drug Ballad,' 'Soldier,' 'Love You More.' I'm assuming his D12 songs aren't being considered for this? 'Purple Pills?!' Guess this is a reminder just how much of a legend Em is man. Gotta admit I was shocked to see 'Forget About Dre' go out in the 1st round!! My final 4: 'Lose Yourself,' 'Shake That,' 'Not Afraid,' & 'Godzilla,' w/ 'Godzilla' taking the W over 'Lose Yourself,' barely.
I agree with all but the final pick. Me personally, I love the aggression and emotion EM raps on Till I Collapse. Plus you got Nate Dogg on that infamous chorus! But you can’t go wrong with either one. Lose yourself was EM hungry for that recognition and Till I Collapse was EM telling the industry that they can’t touch him. Both instant classics and all time great songs.

I honestly thought Toy Soldiers should've won- Love all of the songs that were in the top four, but I just can't put them above Toy Soldiers. It's close to impossible to try and figure out which Em song is my favorite there's WAY too many to choose from. Mind numbing type madness to try and figure it out

My heart says "cleaning out my closet" but my mind says "Godzilla"..... considering eminem has done better than Godzilla I think I would pick "cleaning out my closet"
That's such a terrible pick... Forgot About Dre should have easily won. That song blasted Em into the stratosphere.. and it's just a better song than Forever. You don't have to listen to 3 mediocre verses before getting to the good stuff.
I got lyrics from Beautiful tatted on me, for me it’s my personal no.1, that song means so much to me, but I totally get why you picked Lose Yourself, so iconic man
My top 4 Em only songs (Honestly these could change at any time it's so hard to choose) 1. When I'm Gone 2. Lose Yourself 3. The Real Slim Shady 4. Till I Collapse
Not afraid vs the way I am, the way I am easy, never liked not afraid for reasons I've never been able to figure out and The Way I Am is maybe my favorite Em song of all time
Some of his earlier stuff probably has less streams because old eminem fans had bought CDs and stuff aka have other ways of listening to his songs besides streaming 🤔🧐🤔
Everybody has their opinions but Forever over Forgot About Dre? Eminem literally wrote that entire song himself. No disrespect to Drake, Ye and my favorite rapper Wayne, but that song doesn’t have the listen longevity as Forgot About Dre has.

It's close to impossible to try and figure out which Em song is my favorite there's WAY too many to choose from. Mind numbing type madness to try and figure it out
I agree with this and the matchups are virtually unfair, it's like deciding which child is you favorite... "godzilla vs cleaning out my closet" that is so wrong to ask lol. My heart says "cleaning out my closet" but my mind says "Godzilla"..... considering eminem has done better than Godzilla I think I would pick "cleaning out my closet"
then "Rap God" vs "The way I am" geez... who came up with this!
My top 5 greatest Eminem tracks here are:
1. Lose Yourself
2. Superman
3. The Way I Am
4. Beautiful
5. Smack That
This is a good idea for a stream and let your audience pick the songs but nevertheless awesome content crypt
1. Lose Yourself 2. Stan 3. The Way I am 4. Till I collapse. I agreed with most of this. But some you were clearly bugging on. Lol
Its refreshing to see someone pay proper homage ❤️ Its become so mainstream to hate on my boy, as if he didnt pave the way for the majority.
Fire!!! Love the content
Hilarious how the songs from this competition alone are collectively better than Budden’s whole discography combined.
My final 4...when I'm gone, not afraid, mockingbird, lose yourself...as far as I can pick...
How do you pick Forever over Forgot About Dre. I need some of what you’re smoking 🥴
Right!?
That's such a terrible pick... Forgot About Dre should have easily won. That song blasted Em into the stratosphere.. and it's just a better song than Forever. You don't have to listen to 3 mediocre verses before getting to the good stuff.
In the end it’s just his opinion, do your own bracket and see how people start hate hehe
the monster over superman is ridiculous
I got lyrics from Beautiful tatted on me, for me it’s my personal no.1, that song means so much to me, but I totally get why you picked Lose Yourself, so iconic man
My the best Eminem songs:
1. Not Afraid
2. Till I Collapse
3. Lose Yourself
But you know... Almost every Eminem songs is great.
My top 4 Em only songs (Honestly these could change at any time it's so hard to choose)
1. When I'm Gone
2. Lose Yourself
3. The Real Slim Shady
4. Till I Collapse
We all love crypt and Eminem
Not afraid vs the way I am, the way I am easy, never liked not afraid for reasons I've never been able to figure out and The Way I Am is maybe my favorite Em song of all time
My heart broke😂😂 This was hard to do! We had similar picks but damn I ended up with Without Me
Some of his earlier stuff probably has less streams because old eminem fans had bought CDs and stuff aka have other ways of listening to his songs besides streaming 🤔🧐🤔
Okay Best Friend probably has one of his most technically best verses ever.. Stevie Knight would agree
So glad I saw this! I never get notifications anymore even tho I have it set on 😕
Sad times.
This video concept slaps
Everybody has their opinions but Forever over Forgot About Dre? Eminem literally wrote that entire song himself. No disrespect to Drake, Ye and my favorite rapper Wayne, but that song doesn’t have the listen longevity as Forgot About Dre has.
As much as I love Dre nah forever
Didn’t agree with some of the choices but overall Lose Yourself and Till I Collapse definitely deserved their spots. Great video!
You had to put Fast Lane, No Love and Spacebound in that list, definitely one of the most iconic eminem verses!
That into never gets old. Love you man.
Do more artists crypt this is so entertaining
Once again just like crypt sports I was here right away
