Hey mate, just found this and your players 4 carbon vids. I’be currently got a really old sun mountain which I believe is around 3lb in weight but is on its last legs! I walk/carry almost exclusively so would you recommend the Titleist over the Hoofer Lite that I’ve been looking at which is 5lb or do you think the Ping is a more solid bag and I won’t notice the extra weight? PS, I only carry 11 bats!
I will say that you will notice a difference between 3lbs and 5lbs - but... the PING is super comfy to carry. I also prefer the 5-way ping top just about every other top out there. If you're not worried about the 2lbs... I would go with the Hoofer Lite.
With the 5 dividers, (vs. a 14 divider for each club), do you have any difficulty getting the clubs in/out of the bag? Also, I've heard if you do mostly riding (cart), you can change the two-strap system to a single strap? Is that true?
What I look for in a golf bag is if I can pull my clubs out and put them back in with ease. I don’t like having an issue with that while playing. I have an old sun mountain 5.5 ls and don’t have that issue.
You're not a fan of the PING Hoofer? It's pretty much the gold standard in which stand bags are measured. You can obv find cheaper stand bags, but when you look at everything, they are hard to beat.

I think the 5-way top is the easiest there is to get clubs in and out of the bag. I've never seen a Ping Hoofer with a single strap?
