    This is definitely going to be my new garage system and transport boxes. I glad you got a chance to show us the behind the scene building process. I had no idea they used the assembly line concepts. As a General Motors employee this building process was nice to see in other applications. USA assembled is an awesome thing to see in this day and age. Thanks for all you do for us .

      Assembly in America honestly means nothing unless the parts are made in America. The problem with this whole assembled in America thing is you're paying for the parts to be produced in Asia then you're paying for them to be shipped to America then they have to be distributed to the assembly plants where you're paying union wages for them to be assembled it's absolutely ridiculous the price of these mowers for the quality they are they only hold a charge for about 10 minutes you can literally only cut about 200 square feet of lawn. Don't get me wrong I own almost the entire 40-volt system and I absolutely love the product. I find the only big battery drainer to be the blowers which are still far better than this mower

    • @RidgidRon
      @RidgidRon 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can say all you want but some jobs here are better than everything coming from overseas. Thou most of it does. Cheaper parts and labor allows for more affordability and lower company mark ups (well maybe). Some jobs are better than none.

    • @DeserTech
      @DeserTech 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually, since it's a Japanese term, the first syllable is RYO. Ryo is pronounced "ree-oh" (rhymes with "row") BUT it has to be smeeshed together to get it all out as a single syllable. So, someone who speaks Japanese says "ryo" (one syllable) but us Americans do it as two syllables "ree oh." The whole word Ryobi is only two syllables in Japanese, but stretches to three when you or I say it.

  • @dirkdejong8421
    @dirkdejong8421 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a year later and those detent pin assemblies to remove the handles on the Link box is still not available, or in typical Ryobi fashion inconvenient to locate. If you're going to be an exclusive product for Home Depot then they need to commit to full line availability and in store stocking of the majority of the product.

    They need to figure out a way to refurbish/remove the old innards of the battery pack. I have thrown away 2 so far battery packs because they no longer fully charge, I know that there are videos on YT on how to do it yourself, I don't want to mess with it. Just send me the new innards if I order them, how hard would that be?

      Yeah but ridgid will either fight as hard as they can to not fix your stuff or they will send you a brand new tool no questions asked. Also it's a service agreement not a warranty so that's how they get away with that.

    I can already see the design flaw here. The diamond bottom latch system wont work properly after constant use in the harsh muddy construction environment. Mud and rocks will get stuck in the spring system and they wont latch properly anymore. I still think the Milwaukee pack out system is the best design so far, I have experienced it myself. Like the sales guy said, this is more for DIY people.

  • @basementwoodshop
    @basementwoodshop 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You know why Milwaukee winning the pack out game , because the made pack out drawers . So the guys at ryobi need to come out with one
