Any keyboard controllers has vsts and software for free, for example if you have a M-audio keyboard you can register it and get plenty of free pro VST and software.
I want to know more about on how to create a visually appealing key flow auto play by using any midi notes files derived from any music file. Technically, I need a well made midi extraction from music to play covers. Before playing piano covers, I need these files be auto playable and understood by an app I would be using.

That definitely didn't work for me. You didn't mention how to add the plug ins. Like the computer recognizes but when I right click to add nothing happens.
"recording is only possible when at least one active input device is assigned to a track". Any ideas on what I could do? I have my track 1 assigned to digital piano with the upright piano thing selected
I am having issue while recording. My sustain pedal is NOT recognized.. like the note aren't ringing at all they just stop. But when I play I do hear the note being played and the pedal works. Is there a setting for that?
Check your pedal. I had something similar. Pedal might be inverted. Check the switch. Check if it is upside down. Unplug and replug. Otherwise buy a new higher quality pedal. Something that lasts 👍

I am a total beginner, and most piano folk not take me serious about my ambition because they say its too difficult to play. Please let me ask, can I learn and play Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement with 61 keys keyboard? or is that not covering all the notes on this Beethoven pieces? because the MIDI controller 88 keys like that one on video is rare in my country, even if the store have one its significantly expensive compared to 61 keys keyboard w USB to Host function (so I can use that for MIDI controller too), and import tax if I want to buy MIDI Controller from overseas is exorbitant. Thankyou so much!
For a total beginner it is best to learn the basics first then learn Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement. And if you want a good decent piano your going to have to spend more then 500 USD (not sure what currency you use though). You can learn Moonlight Sonata on a 61 but you may have to skip a few parts or have to shift a few octaves up or down. You could surf the internet for some arrangements made by some people on the piece. learning how to read music sheet would also be very helpful to learn since most pieces are written on music sheet then midi. Good luck on your journey and i hope you found this somewhat helpful

yeah you might need to reroute in the DAW or adjust on your MIDI controller. should not be any "sound recorded", your MIDI is like a keyboard for typing, your DAW makes the sounds. need to adjust your output
What is all of this nonsense about VSTs and DAWs? I have an audio interface, Ableton Live Suite 11, Komplete13 Ultimate Collector's Edition, Pianoteq Pro, Keyscape, etc... What I want is lights. Get to the key lights!
