Pro tip to any newer players: If you have an officer for this type of mission, paying 10 intel to extend the mission timer makes it significantly easier, while 20 intel makes it trivial
You've gotten extremely lucky to not get any faceless in East Asia, without a Rendez-Vous. Excellent mission nonetheless, the Assassin still seems to be as easy to fight as before
10/10 historical reference to the term sabotage - definitely a case of clogging up the works. With regard to assigning equipment, it's a case of the Princess and the Pauper.
Went ahead and skipped ahead to watch this episode! (I've been watching this series from the start because I was a bit behind haha) Really a fan of it all, the mods all seem to mesh together well (not sure how modded it is, didn't remember) and I'm loving the tactics. For one, the "Have two guys just speedrun around the map" being a great idea. Also, no faceless??? Amazing work, seems that the haven advisors kept a watchful eye on everyone to check for them. Probably had everyone test their blood... Very funny that Jet has been chosen to stay in the avenger until he's cool enough to lead lmao
Nice work with the Assassin. A method I've had success with is baiting her flashbang/blind grenade. It's a bit more effective on a protect data tap because rebels can be used instead of soldiers, but both work. I think the grid size for that grenade is 3x3, so 2 or 3 rebels in a tiny area away from everybody else pretty reliably works (might also get arc waved, but it hasn't happened to me on 1.2... yet). She even neglected to take a Hit and Run shot once which was... weird (all on Legendary btw).
Don't you risk harbor wave then if you clump up to bait the grenade? Probably won't kill rebels, but with soldiers that can be some annoying small wounds.
@@DerAva yes harbor wave is a risk when clumping up (I mistakenly called it arc wave in the original comment). I wouldn't clump up any of the Important Soldiers, but if my Low Level Hoplite and Experimental Suppression Gunner miss a couple of weeks it's not a huge deal lol Also (probably?) important to keep everyone else far away so it's a less juicy harbor wave target.
Why do you almost never run recruiting for more intel generation? Your starting area has 12 rebels, but the second one only has 6, would that not help with spawning lib 3 in the long run putting 1-2 on recruiting? Or does it not work that way anymore.
Main downside of doing that is that it reduces the number of people doing the intel job, so less mission detection power, so any mission you detect might have worse timers, if you detect it at all. In my experience it's more reliable to go for mission detection and get rebels via jailbreak missions than to run the recruitment job.

Very nice job with that. It's nice to see how these missions are supposed to go, ha ha.
Oh BOY, that Lib3 is gonna be spicy. eagerly awaiting it already

Rebekah, who you bought from the Black Market for scanning protocol, is already at your highest rank, has 10 kills, and is out for another mission. :)
I believe u got xp for kills this mission. (: Gunnar got a promotion midlevel (;
What is the mod with the soldier selector at the top of the creen called? I had it, or one similar to it but can't find it anymore.
That is "Quick Soldier Info"
