Konami had and still has a clever way of depicting players as their real life counterparts without actually doing it. They didn't have the licenses to most national teams back when this was released but I'm guessing Pavel Nedved is who's being portrayed at the opening and closing of this video with that long range effort.
Yeah it is *Nedvěd* with his haircut off of the Lazio days. He won the *Ballon d'Or* that year and it would be too obvious to portray him with his signature long hair, could've gotten Konami in trouble. Fantastic player 💯⚽
