I never realized I would share so many similar life experiences that someone as amazing as Yoongi has been through. I don't understand Korean, but when I read the lyrics in English I got triggered AF because a lot of it rang so true with me and I cried for an hour. I bet a lot of us carry stuff like this within us. I hope his song makes us remember that we're not alone. Thank you, Yoongi, for baring your soul so that we may feel that it is okay to do the same. But suddenly I heard "love myself" covered by some girl who was singing next door in English and for some reason instead of ending my life there I stopped and listened to her My parents saw me with the knife still on my neck and they cried and said " don't do it pls your so much better then this don't you care about us!?" I didn't think about that cuz I was blind by hate from my own body But hearing your song made me realize I shouldn't hate myself God made me beautiful just the way I am and if people don't like that then they can die in hell because I'm not dying yet That's what I told myself back then so....
