When we have been on fire lines with cal fire we were told it was more advantageous to face the line you were cutting as to not over exhaust your self pulling from only one side , and avoid"switching" over to a less dominant side, nice video, thought the comedic element near the end was a cool touch thank you

You haven't cut much handline, have you? Having a Pulaski or Super-P lead helps to break up the thick vegetation and gives everyone a path to follow. Whoever is on Lead P is the one both setting the pace and the direction of the handline.
