The fact that he has an 80% win rate is proof that the game trys to match good players with bad players so that the good ones can carry them. What this guy has done is trick the game into thinking he sucks when he is providing a lot of value. I noticed this when playing tank champs, that I’d consistently get better teams than if I played a carry and tried to do tons of damage.
The fact that the Wild rift matchmaking is this broken is honestly sad.

@@28Vandals inting sion is quite popular tactic so that playstyle is not wrong, after all goal of the game is to destroy enemy nexus and he is doing exactly this, issue is that matchmaking prioritizes kda, tf participation, champion dmg and those over turret dmg or dmg tanked. that leads to matchmaking giving him stronger teammates to "boost" him so in such scenario those players can use the opportunities this sion creates even further

There is video on lego's chanell where he's approved that turret dmg means nothing bcs other guy did the same challenge, but without taking turrets. Literally 0 dmg deald to turrets, just feeding, and he still have 80% wr😂 so this is matchmaking broken, not pushing value
Thank you for creating this video! I hope it reaches Riot and they realize that the current matchmaking algorithm needs to be changed. It doesn't feel right when every rank has the same proportion of good and bad players only to force the better players to be stuck longer, having to carry those with bad stats. And it's especially messed up for Support mains as we get higher stats easily by design, then the system expects us to carry trolls, inters, afkers and newbies. I can outdamage true Plat cores even with Yuumi, but it's not enough to win the match if the enemies are stronger or my team has no macro and doesn't listen to shotcalls, or when we are literally 4v5.

Ex GM top 50 Jax here and I admit i dont have idea how to carry emerald/diamond games simply because the teammates i get are so bad they don't even know how to let someone else carry ,it truly feels like the more you put effort into every game, the more Riot punishes you , this is gonna be so helpful!

What do you suggest? A better tutorial system, or just sticking bad players with each other to force them to improve? Genuinely asking. I was a top 100 Aatrox too and played Rengar in PC, and the mmr has always been flawed deeply.
@@FeiFongWang gold 4 plays vs gold 4. If you win a lot you rise up quickly, so smurfs won't be a Problem as well. Ranked doesn't need matchmaking that accounts for skill, casual needs this though. Imagine real Sports tournaments ranking would be close to lol xD Noone would watch sports then.
Buuuuut, the matchmaking is there to suck as much time from the players as possible. Good players want to win after they are losing, bad players often aren't serious so if they lose a lot they stop playing. And most people playing are not as serious as we are. The more time you spent on a game the more money on average you spent on it .

This is how both lol and Wr match make. The issue is ranked means nothing because riot makes ranked mean nothing.
Coming from a 90% winrate player who had someone on his 2rd total ranked game(in his promos still) In my emerald game a month ago.
No riot. People don't lose 1 game in bronze, then suddenly become emerald players.
I hope this breaks the matchmaking system. Currently it's just stupid. Skilled players get punished but also not skilled but kda hungry people get judged as being good. If I see people abusing this be against or for me I'll support them.
I actually did some extensive testing on this a few seasons back. My strategy was to intentionally throw 4 games in a row, wait 24 hours then play 6 games trying to win. I climbed from low diamond to gm with around 40 marks doing this and had a 55% winrate overall. However of the games i actually tried to win i had a winrate of 90 plus percent.
And when i say i threw games i mean it, we dont know for sure what stats contribute to MMR so i just made sure every stat was as low as possible. This included dmg dealt, dmg received, kda, and GPM. I would play the same role as i did on the games i was trying to win too since its possible MMR could be rank specific (i don’t think it is but just wanted to be sure i didnt have any unnecessary variables).
Anyway what i would do in these feeding games is i would play jg and i made sure to not farm any camps at all. I would simply get my hp super low and then go find an enemy to feed, that way i could tank my kda without getting my dmg taken stat too high. And since my MMR was so low from doing this some of these games were really hard to lose, like i had to try hard to throw it did not feel good and is a big reason i stopped doing it. But when i was doing this i noticed the games i did try to win were so easy. Like it felt impossible to lose i barely had to try.
Riot needs to fix the game asap.
It was very helpful. I don't like people who give up halfway. I tried my best in every match. This is what made my matching worse.
Only problem with throwing games would probably be mass reporting and your acc would get banned so is it really worth it lol maybe if you don’t mind making new acc each time

this is THE ONLY moba on the phone that has this system, reaching vainglorious in VG was NOT such a steep hill to climb for me, legendary in AOV, extraordinary ones was never this difficult. It’s so sad that riot has this system to keep you at 48-58% winrate if you’re a good player, in an attempt to keep players from “churning” or quitting the game, in reality the moment good players find out about this system, they’re more likely to quit ranking and just quit altogether, at least in my case, when finding out about this MMR bot I just quit rank.
It makes me wish they would take the same approach to matchmaking like Vainglory did, because that one was miles ahead of whatever Riot has ever done in their games
Agreed. In a couple of months of ranking I was top 80 NA in VG, the climb to vainglorious was never this difficult where you have to spam 800+ games just to reach anywhere right below chally, 2000+ to get sov, it’s ridiculous

Bruh, I used to be high rank (around master with +10 for a win, -15 for a loss then went inactive). Got back to the game and tried to rank back up from Gold 4. My KDA is over 7.5, now I know why I get such bad teammates every single game. It's literally so hard to rank up when my teammates go 0-8 almost every game.
Past Master too, paired with past GMs at plat games with super trash teams all day long
Same, I was Master and when I started playing again I was (and still am) Hardstuck in Plat 1 - Emerald 4. Even though i am like 15/0 every game playing Gwen I even reached Top 100 Gwen because I carried my mates from Gold to plat. my mates are always like 0/8, 0/11
Yeah. I got masters too this season, but I got annoyed because I'm sick of having to 1v9 almost every game because some teammates will just go 0/8 and have half the gold of the rest of the team, so I stopped playing ranked. Also I don't like Sion and neither play top, so I'll stick with ARAM, its just way dumb to play ranked whike having high MMR and having to deal with boosted kids who barely know their own champion while being high elo. The only reason I don't move to PC lol permanently is because of the amount of bugs and the extremely long matches, 40min - 1 hour and a half games??????? Thanks but no.
@@someone1932I was diamond I and masters and kept getting platinum III and Emerald IV's literally EVERY GAME, and they would ALWAYS feed early and BEG for FF.
Im playing duo rank with my friend in emerald bracket, in this past week I got to play with at least 3 boosted diamond accounts who in game didn't even look like they deserve to be in platinum. And when I check on their match history, lo and behold, trash KDAs with some occasional wins while getting carried by their teammates every game. I'm so damn baffled and honestly I would've preferred if they int with sion you know, at least they'll play the game well enough to take some objectives.

They both were suggested to make such a video by Don WR, a bilingual youtuber and ex-pro player from the Russian community. And it was my idea to ask Don to ask English-speaking content makers to promote Lego's challenge to attract Riot Games' attention.
I test inting strategy once when it was in early season. I inted and then when I get good teamates constantly, I stop inting and play seriously. Then, when I get a bad team, obviously because I'm not inting, I repeat by inting again till I get a good team. Guess what? It works and I get around 70% win rate or something. I did that just by my curiosity of why I get a bad teammates when I did good. I tested it myself and yep, it works like a charm before I decided to stop and play normal casual with my buddies.

Unfortunately Riot allows us to counter the horrible logic of this rankedQ that makes you think you trash or you're Faker, depending on the schizophrenic matchmaking.

I'm a adc main, and i usualy get very high kda even if i lose, so sometimes i go o several games losing streak because my teamates sucks, so now it makes sense
Not to mention if i duo with my friend, our combined kd literally overshadows our 3 random allies. No wonder the game decided to match us with horrible players and we end up losing 90% of our matches.

Dude, this video is easily in my top 5 of what you've ever uploaded. I hope that this will spread and force Riot to pull their heads from their asses and fix this. Lego you have my utmost respect this is some big brain strategy my friend. Shame I will probably never use this because I'm support main but I will try it in the practice mode just for the heck of it because you can tell that this is hella fun. You can feel the frustration of the enemies 😂

@@Gwynsladle but this can be done on any fresh smurf with any champ by just inting and pushing turrets. Sion is not the only splitpusher in the game, but you can use any champ for this, actually

Нет не совсем правильно, он намеренно играл плохо не набивал статистику чтобы не получать ммр очки , система подбора в Вайлд Рифта завязана на ммр а не на ранге . Для баланса суммарная сумма очков команд одинаковая если у тебя условно 100 балов а средняя сумма ммр очков в команде 1000 то тебе с дадут играков с примерно 200 , 250, 250 ,200 ПТС очков получается что твоя команда будет статистически сильнее. Надеюсь я смог объяснить текущее состояние системы подбора

They need to remove MMR based matchmaking entirely, its ridiculous. The only thing matchmaking should factor in is what rank you are. If you are better than the players at your rank then you will rank up, its that simple. But nah they will keep it the way it is to keep less skilled players ranking up. The truth is majority of the playerbase benefits from MMR based matchmaking and only a select few players that are genuinely good get punished. I stopped taking rank seriously several seasons ago because of this.
I mean if you think about it. It makes sense from riots pov. If the match making rewarded good players(or atleast didn’t punish them by playing good) then it means they would be able to win as many games as they wanted to and ranking would be easy….but here’s the catch. If you have a 80% wr then SOMEBODY is going to have a 20%wr. Seems fair right? The good players should rank easy and the bad players should lose untill they “get good”. Reality is the bad players would just quit and delete, newbies would never continue playing and sales and new downloads would plummet. Good for the vets but BAD for business, very bad…
I've also found a way around ranking up or at least has worked for me compared to last season. I've started playing heroes i don't touch hardly & i play in mid tier. What i mean is i don't exceed past 10kills, about 5-8 deaths & a few assists (like 4-6). Say you play 10 games, play 3-4 with champs you're actually good with but don't spam them play champs you have a lower win rate under 50% every other game. When you start to climb slowly spam the heroes you are good with, if you lose spam low ranking heroes your MMR isn't impactful to match you with players that are on both sides. Went on 8 game win streak & would drop a few games only to go on a 6 game streak after going on an 8 game win streak.
This worked for me to climb from diamond to grandmaster, I was using caitlyn (who I had 0 games on) and went on a fat 15 streak, then went trist (also 0 games) easy winstreak, as soon as the MMR bot starts to give you L streaks to balance your champion winrate STOP USING THAT CHAMP
@@wintergreen8393, exactly it helps because you can't be paired with the higher or lower tier players. It's a good method to climb even if it's a slow way to climb better than dropping 10 games getting angry & lose interest in the game.

Yea. I was playing ADC for like 2-3 seasons and my KDA was always 5-6, but this season i started to play jungle and top and my KDA is 4.2 or something. I do actually get less people that are stupid, but still people are stupid

Then you play good, you got terrible teammates (which are usually the worst player that are high rank because they play a lot, so they feel proud and they’re toxic) for 10 games in a row, you got tilted and you got chat ban.
So if the matchmaking is based on kda then if you're a really good player you only gonna get bad teamates

Already do it. From plat 4 to Diamond 1 in just 2 days. Since Ive stucked in Plat 4 and 2 for half season because I keep getting the worst possible team ever since my KDA is 5.5. Now my KDA is 3.3, turret dmg dealt 8k. Team participation dropped from 50% to 20%. Yeah the matchmaking is broken and stupid. But keep it in mind, even tho you inting and have the worst KDA, you will still gonna match up with WORST team.

Hi Hell?s; i got so many question because I'm trying this playstyle::: besides the fact i still have 10% of games played like that so i keep finding troll teammates... I have serious issues with ranged players, and in low elo i find so many, how should I behave in this case? Can't do proxy farm vs adcs, and also when i'm in switched sides i have problems with proxy...

Now I complete understand. I finish MVP or SVP almost every match in Diamond Elo. My stats are almost always in the 90th % of players in the rank. So I am the "high skill" always getting paired with these absolute losers. No wonder I cant get past Diamond 1

Knowing how the matchmaking works now makes me feel so much better about my own performance because I feel like a lot of the times I individually do very well but I still end up with a loss because of trolling teammates or because of other circumstances throughout the match. So yes, there's definitely a chance that it's his team holding him back currently. Whether that's true or not I cannot say for sure of course.

i'm a top 50 player in AOV and have pretty much crazy macro and micro on mobile moba. i tryhard rank on wild rift for 3 damn season, and only put me on master tier 3 times. when i queue i got gm or even a challanger that plays really mad (mechanically ok but macro's fucked). i know i'm not at the top level (factual skill wise), but having me hard stuck in master when majority of my match i deal the most damage, most kp, shoutcaller/pinger who's very efficient, ITS JUST FUCKING SHIT RIOT. i can feel you bro, it's the only mobile moba games that i'm not being at least the top 2 hierarchy rank, not because it's harder, BUT RIOT SOMEWHAT FUCK IT UP
It just matters whether or not you can carry those bad teammates. Lmao 😂 if you're sion great. If you're those teammates engaging in fights etc staying with team it really matters how well you use sion as a decoy or the split pusher in general.
THe matchamking system should be like where all low mmr players are in one match and all high mmr players in one match so nooobs dont get boosted and pros dont get punished

Good players with good players and bad/New/casual players with each other. That's the whole point of having different ranks that players can climb up as they get better. That's what any new player or any person would understand because it's strongly implied, why wouldn't it work that way??
But corporations have a way to be sneaky and manipulate systems in their favor. Instead they mix players, forcing the try hard players to play more games because they loose too much wr to bad teams, and simultaneously encouraged new/bad players to play more, since the game rewards them for a minimum effort( the type of people that have nor attention neither patience and play just to kill time).
Therefore they trick everyone into play more, get more engagement and increase sales.
Profit always wins and will always take priority over a real human experience.

Riot claims it has this to prevent and discourage smurfing, but tbh if you Smurf you should just climb quickly back to your deserved rank, a few Bads getting steamrolled though and riot loses people buying skins 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@wintergreen8393 all my acquaintances who have ever reached Challenger did this on a smurf account with fresh MMR. Riot actually encourages smurfing with the current system, and why not since a lot of people who bought skins on their main accounts will also buy at least a few skins on a successful smurf acc as well.

@@goku1dickrder926 The essence of Bausffs strategy is that even despite his deaths, he has the best farm on the map, and he takes gold from his deaths through bounties. Also, when he buys a few items in a team fight, he can give control, and after death, get two or three kills. This is not at all the same as removing the auto-attack button and just running around feeding the map.

I think riot actually calculating all the stats, what I do is just purposely lowering some of my stats to get better team
Interesting, perhaps the KDA stat is seen as more important than turret damage and damage tanked, so even though you have great stats there you still have super low MMR because of your other stats being so low.

This has always been like that. 2 years ago I stopped playing because I’d get troll teammates and see worse players than me in GM (I almost got to gm). I knew getting those tons of svps with good stats were somehow harming me lol but this proves it. Every time I had a loss streak with tons of svps

Just put tower damage in the equation of matchmaking it shouldn't be difficult. You can also add minions killed and damage tanked but it's secondary

It will never be my style to play like that, in my opinion it has nothing to do with LoL. Riot has to get something like this under control at some point in order to prevent such unsportsmanlike tactics.

Lethality Sion Bauss strategy came to wildrift lmao, that guy is a master of that craft, but it isn't like League on pc where per minion u get 14 gold and canon 60 gold while on wr u get 60 per normal minion. The turrets on league are more tanky and give more gold like tier 2 turret gives 900 gold and thats big, and the plates last more on league so on wild rift its not as efficient but as you know it works just fine but with some twists

It most likely won’t work, because the game will take into account your teammates MMR.
Furthermore if you have good teammates in a trio expect to get 2 monkeys on your team going 0-11 running it down or mindlessly split pushing while riot expects you to carry them against 5 decent players that all know what they’re doing, and are all 5 man rotating and getting objectives together 👍🏻

5:45 I have a question, HellsDevil. If only number of kill, assist, an damage done to champion count toward MMR, does that mean number of death have no impact on MMR? Do I receive the same MMR regardless of whether I win with 4/0/3 or 4/10/3? (Assuming damage done to champion is same)

Yes, pc League has a different way of scoring your elo points and probably even measures your MMR in a different way.

Me having a full bar of KDA and 75% of the bar teamfight(not actual number) as a support enchanter(mostly Soraka or Sona) makes the game feel like hard mode or worse.

Russians love exploiting and cheating. I play another game called Predator Hunting Grounds, full of Russian hackers and exploiters. Super boring and a huge waste of time. Then again a lot of kids have no life and just play all day. Some of these kids need to find a job and get off Wildrift lol

Not sure about why he picked Fleetwork, didn't watch his streams that closely, but the main idea indeed is to look like a very bad player for the matchmaking algorithm. And I completely agree with you as a solo queue Support only player: this season is ridiculously hard to climb with high Enchanter stats. After every 2 MVPs or S-scores that are so easy to get as long as your team does something, I get matched with newbies and afkers that don't even get registered as afk players by the system, so I don't even get any compensation for those losses. Ex-Master player, haven't been to Emerald 1 this season yet. My whole match history is MVPs, SVPs, A- and S-scores...

Just from that feeling, it ruins any fun while playing and you can couple that with toxic players. Who l am pretty sure they are placed there just to ruin our days. You're telling me, my 9.2 KDA was just lucky? Most games for me that are rigged to win, are blowout games. l get max 2 deaths, most are 1. While the other rigged games to lose, have our team be so weak, that even with good positions, if you don't have a team to protect you, you can't escape without dying. Those moments of players going to fight, l go help them but get into deeper trouble only for us to lose and get that death counter up.
Personally, l don't care if l have high stats on KDA, it can be a metric for me to know if l am doing decent(not good, just decent). l am still sure that l am not a good player. However, with that belief, l am convinced matches are rigged. Fights that are obviously are going to lose or win still happen because certain placed players forego everything that is "common sense".
Personally, l just want to have fun as a support character, try builds that max healing(l love breaking record of doing the most healing) or just builds that could work as fun or off-meta. ALmost all times, it is the same build again and again and even if you try to use different runes or items, some champs are too rigid for that. Some others are more flexible but with how limting LOL has become, it is like any tryhard player in old games; where the games have limited guns or tactics(2-3) and they only those out of the 20 weapons. Think Old COD(COD 4 and WAW) and Counter strike. The point l am trying to say is, loadouts feel rigid. Some other roles and their champs will surely have the freedom to use what they want but l got a feeling, they may not always work.
l liked Old LOL, missed those days.
Still, l want to have fun, try Soraka on other lanes(not jungle) or other enchant champs. Break up the routine. But the toxic players(l must disable chat to have peace of mind yes?) and the rigged matchmaking are my enemies.
l had one normal game , l was filled MID(bot were a duo). Good chance for me to try mid Soraka. But the enemy ahri was a tryhard and l checked her stats. Out of all enemies and allies, she had the most KDA and was the queen of the game. Didnd't let my lane safe. And they had a top sion, doing his turret job too well, he only ppushed top.. So their team was a ranked on a NORMAL game and our team was terrible. l did the math and both KDA teams were. 22.5(my team) VS 21.5. l have a 9.2. That system seems to use weights to compensante. of course, it is the MMR which is King but they want the difference between both teams to be minimal. l took notice of this game because it felt too artifficial, no way a normal game would be so tryhard especially that AHri. My,my, a bad memory.
@@deadspace4755 I never play Normals solo, only when a friend wants to try this game or a new champ and asks me to support for them. Normals and Ranked matches have different MMR scores, I believe.
But solo queue Ranked games, vision system and role guarantee are the only 3 reasons for me to play this game over my old main moba. However, it feels quite worthless when it's obvious I cannot rank up as a Support at all, as for a 9-0-20 mvp game, for example, I will be punished with a 7-matches losestreak. Maybe the algorithm feels confused about me as I pick a different support every match, and I play both Enchanters, Tank and Carry supports. Thanks to Lego I learnt that I just have too high stats for a non-core position :(
