Thanks. A combination of this and a comment helped fix 'carriage jam' issue where carriage was stuck at right hand side. Basically needed to jiggle it and push down hard, and it solved it.
Thank you for the video I am trying to figure out how to reconnect the ink supply tube. When you get to 11:01 min I see a great diagram and almost see how the ink supply tubes are placed to the right but one of the 2 transparent/clear ones became undone and I can not figure out where it connects or drains to. This one holds the black ink and I am afraid it will leak out everywhere if I don't connect it properly. Any thoughts?
Hi, could you please explain how the paper pickup roller machanism works, at 3:09? My HP deskjet 3070A has the problem with that, but I don't know how it works so I can try to fix it. The black moving gear not turning the roller, but if I glue it to the white gear of the roller, it make the paper stuck in when it cleaning the cartridges. Thanks in advance.
Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. I currently do not have this type or similar printer to demonstrate on, but will try to make a video if I run across one. Gluing the gear may not fix the issue since it is snapped already due to rod pressure and the gear tooth order is messed up, thats why you get a problem when it is trying to do one thing or the other. Gear needs to be replaced. It may be very hard to replace, but even harder to find that particular gear. It is very unfortunate problem which leaves you with very limited repair options. In any case, I will try to demonstrate it on a similar printer and if successful, I will post video. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
Is it only doing the line when using the scanner feeder or when you use the glass top scanning as well? If it is only when using feeder, there may be something on the glass pice under the add unit. It is usually easily cleaned or removed. If it does it on all scans, yes the scanner lamp may be bad or the scanner wire needs to be re connected properly.
@@303electronics Thanks for responding! There is no feeder on this unit (HP 6520) and it happens on all scans when using the glass top. It's very consistent. I don't notice any part of the lamp that is dim, and don't see any dirt. I might take it apart and re-seat the ribbon cable.
I have the exact printer model and brand. Could need your help. I keep getting a ink cartridge problem warning to replace or install thé affected cartridges. Well I installed a brand new ones but keep getting thé warning light. Reinstall em sometimes it work sometimes it doesn’t. Any idea?
@@303electronics yes sir, I kept swapping them. Brand new ones. Keep getting warning light to replace affected cartridges. But if I spray and clean ink heads sometimes it work.
I took off the top of my 6525 to remove the printhead to unclog it. (I tried the syringe method first, several times, to no avail.) The hinge on the right came off completely. I can't tell if it broke off, or if it simply can be reattached.
I'm sorry I made that impression. I tried to remove parts with least possible force. usualy when screws are removed, the parts should come off, but sometimes there is a clip or a few that hold the part strong.

You're welcome! I'm glad you got it fixed! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, I have the same problem, the black ink tube came off. Have you found how to connect it?
It is quite helpful to me as I have done replacement parts many times myself. It added to my knowledge more. Thanks

I can make a video about the problem if you need it. Just let me know. Thank you.

I'm getting a vertical strip down the paper when scanning. Could a bad scanner lamp cause this?

Very helpful video. I'm trying to find a paper pick up roller (1st part you removed) for this model 6520 All-in-one.
Thanks for the feedback. Pull out the main paper tray drawer, flip printer on its side and you should be able to see the paper roller.
@@303electronics it's missing for some reason. I was getting "no paper" error, after watching your video I see that this part is missing.

Did you change all cartridges. Sometimes one faulty cartridge will gice error to the whole set, a diffferent cartridge, and maybe even the printhead.

Fantastic, great job! Thanks for your presentation, helped me fix my printer black ink color box void.
Great! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you were able to fix your printer. Have a great day!

As far as I can tell, it just slides over the knob just under the cover.
Would be a good, informative, video if it weren't so glichy!
U basicly using brut force to open or take apart, its all plastic so lucky u did not brake anythinf
