7:50 The wash on the cooling fins is my FAV part of the entire model project! 🪄

0:36 The tribute to the pilots and crew is very honorable, classy and respectful. Cheers! 🇺🇸

I love the intro when the big metal ball with chains rolls from left to right and back to left!

Looks great! Speaking only for myself, as one who's trying to re-learn, after years out of the hobby, narration would be interesting, rather than music. I'll keep looking for such a site.

At first I was - 'dude! where are your gloves? You'll get skin oils all over the parts!' but then I was 'never mind, he's covered his fingers in paint, that'll do the trick.'

What was that you covered the carb intake pipes with before painting? In WWII pics I always see them as bare metal silver during field service. The 2 piece rocker covers I tried to use wouldn't work with the girdle. You went with the "Late" front housing, that was not in the "Razorbacks" only "M" and "N" versions had the round housing. "Razorbacks" had the "Dog nose". Beautiful R-2800 no less. It looks fantastic mated with the fuselage. You're building a beauty. Good luck with the rest of assembly. I've got to say though, Trumpeter's P-47 series, they did no real research into the AC. In Trumpeters 47 series the pit floor never changes. Only up to D-25 was there a corrugated pit floor, after that the floor was flat. "N" version seat also had arm rests, but not in the Trumpeter kit. For the price $120.00 U.S. I expected more.

I don't need any instructions to build models. I can scratch build almost any model. This is only a kit!
