I got to travel from Nashville to Birmingham on one of the last L&N "South Wind" passenger runs in the mid-60's. The cars were immaculate, the service amazing, and the meal was delicious. It was pulled by 2 E-units. This is one of my fondest memories.

Most of the L&N footage is Evansville, IN, not really the south, but still great to see.
