If you were planning to invite with the intention and reason of convocation, then the convocation letter that college issues is mandatory. Basically the invitation letter should be on the letterhead of your college.
And you don’t need a detailed itinerary, or either of it if you are just applying for a visa
bro, in supporting documents, do we need to upload our passport (page including parents name) ? In my scenario, last name don't match on their Id vs my passport. To be specific, in my passport my mother last name is Panesar whereas in their Id is its Kaur.
Okay so In this case, first you need to make sure all the documents you will be uploading has exact same name. Only then upload and process your file

Mother name in my father’s passport is different then my grandmother passport.

hello brother, I have some questions please try to answer each question. Question-1- my dad is farmer what i can choose in occupation category , if im chosing one given production from agriculture category option then after that system required the employer or company name that we dont have and these fields are mandatory to be filled, what i can do in this situation?? Question-2- I'm using IRCC portal for the applications for my mom and dad and selected one group and i have question do i need add both applicants differently in that created group or should i add one applicant and fill second person as spouse details in same one application?? I'll be so thankful If you can answer my question or help me.
1. In occupation field select self employed if possible or even if you select similar occupation that will work. Nobody is going to ask or do background checks for that. My dad has transportation business but I didn’t had any documents so I selected employed and company as Uber. Still got visa very easy as the main reason was convocation.
2. Yes in this case you will apply for group and add mom dad as applicants to the group. You will see there to add members to group. Fill informations for both and select the option for both that yes they will be traveling with spouse

No. Birth certificate is not mandatory instead you can use your 10th grade mark sheet.

Hello, I just watched your video. But have a question when you started the video I can see your parents name separately in the application as first you filled your mom's details. So after submitting that, it gave you an option to fill your dad's details? let me know as I have to start the application for my parents :)
In starting when you click on, start an application
You will see an option there, which states that you want to apply group application
So just start over again and make sure you’re clicking on the group application option
After creating a group, it will ask you to add members to that group so the first member will be your dad or mom and then second will be vice versa
And first it will ask you to fill the details of your first member. Let it be your dad and then when you fill out all the details, it will ask you to upload the documents of your dad.
After uploading documents for your dad, you will not be able to pay because it will ask you to upload all the details of second member in the group as well
Once you upload details of second member only then it will proceed further to submit your application and you will be allowed to pay the application fees for both of them, including the biometric charges

Even if the funds are old or new it doesn’t matter. Just make sure to get a printout from your bank and get it stamped as the stamp date should be for the past six months
Is it important to apply only on the behalf of convocation as a student? Will IRCC check about my convocation?
If you apply on convocation, success rate is 100%
What if we don’t invite parents for convocation as I am on study permit and I want to invite my parents
Basically to invite your parents, you need a very strong reason so convocation is considered to be the strongest reason to invite your parents. I would suggest you to wait till your convocation ceremony and only then apply for your parents visa.

Yes you might get dates separately, then it will be updated automatically at IRCC portal

No as you have to upload adhaar card only. You can see the issue date on longer and bottom part of adhaar card. Else you can put any tentative issue date that’s not an issue.

Yes but after that you can just mention his involvement in any self employed small business (not documented as well) so that IRCC get to know he is still into some work and will return back to his country. Else if you show that there’s no work, it will raise questions on intention to go back.

You have to answer yes because english or french is the only language they will contact you with . So answer No means you can not communicate with IRCC. So answer yes and select English

In this case, the cover letter will be the convocation letter, so it doesn’t matter if you’re attaching it together or different, but it should have the name of your brother plus parents

Yes you have to wait until completion of your course and when you receive completion documents n transcripts, apply visa only then

You can apply all together in a group application too.
I have a question. I am already graduated but my sibling is still studying in Georgian college and she will be graduating in September. So how can i get her convocation letter 2-3 months before her convocation to apply for my parents visa?
She will only get her convocation letter from the college after completion of the course, so you just have to wait till she graduates. Once you get the completion letter , transcript and convocation letter , then you are good to go and apply for your parents

Yes you can apply for it but give a strong reason like home sickness. Also show good amount of funds in your parents account (around 10-12L) likes FDs and good statements. Because convocation has highest success rate and if you applying with any other reason then your financials and SOP should be strongest.

1) Can I as a son apply in the same application as my Mom and Dad's application?
2) There is only one window of submitting the documents so should I combine both mom and dad's aadhar and then their passport and then accordingly attach on the portal.. i think the answer is adding the parent in the group portal when the group is created and then separately add the docs.. but i would love to know your answer.
3) So the convocation is in June and my brother was intimated just 5 days back. I think that the convocation will be over before the 25 days usual proceeding period. Will my application get cancelled? --> I got this answer from your comment section as yes, there is no worry with this.
4) At 3:53, should I select the option (2 options above your option) as he is 26yrs old and has applied for work visa after completing his masters 5 days back?
Yes you can apply as a son for your mom dad. At initial page click on the group option and then add your mom and dad as the members in group, then you will see both their options to upload documents individually.

actually i applied for my in laws second time they got refusal second time. so i just worried is have to apply through my husband or my self as i am a student my husband is on work permit . i dont know what reason i have to mention on invitation letter. before i invite to my inlaws for droping my baby girl to canada but they did not get their second time as well.

Bro I would suggest to invite them on convocation as it has more than 90% success rate. Other reason you can give is of home sickness but all other reason just has 50-60% chances of getting a visa

How much funds do i have to show in my parents accounts and how much I should have in my accounts in Canada? I do have a permanent job though, would a job letter be enough? Also, what about their insurance?
You can show around $10,000 for each parent in their bank account in their home country. For yourself you can show upto anywhere around $20,000 but make sure to apply again with a strong and valid reason for their visa.

@@GagandeepSingh-cn1tv I would suggest you to apply your parents visa on your convocation, because that is the strongest and valid reason to invite parents with 100% success rate. If you apply with reason they might reject the visa because birthday is not a strong reason.

You will receive other biometric letter in next few days don’t worry. IRCC never send both biometric letters together. 😊

Thank you so much for all the videos. Recently my parents visitor visa got rejected. I know that liquid readily available cash is very important to show. In my parents bank account, we showed CAD 16000 liquid money for two people and for 2.5 months stay in Canada. Do you think that is not enough or a little less in today's economy? The rejection reason was purpose of visit is not consistent with the temporary stay. I provided the invitation letter but I said my parents are financially independent and they will take care of the expenses.

Hi, to be honest normal visitor visas are getting rejected. But it somehow the reason is CONVOCATION then success rate is 90%

@@shri-cf8jt I would suggest you not to apply again as you don’t have any valid and convincing reason. You can take a risk to apply maybe on your birthday or your parents marriage anniversary bit still there’s a risk.
Show atleast $10,000 CAD savings in each parent’s account
