Yes, I do, too. It is so convenient to use it right away. But this technique requires you to be more careful. Don't bite it too hard so the wires don't saw into your tooth. If you can't do it just use the nails, it's easier
An auto stripper is ok but when you’re using these tools day in, day out it’s honestly just easier to carry a pair of cable shears for larger cable and side cutters for everything else. If you’re doing a lot of stripping then they’re great but not practical for every day use as a sparky but it depends on your specific role.
I agree with you I hate that old is better mentality pisses me off a lot like just because something does it better because it's new doesn't mean it's prone to break I get it some stuff was built better back in the day but some stuff is still built the same but upgraded it has more im going off snowmobiles for an example I mean sure you can get a good sled from the 90's ik I do but yeah your paying 10 or 20 grand for a sled thats BRAND spanking new but you are getting your money's worth I mean you get a gps better suspension EVEN CUSTOM BUILT TO
I hated using newer auto wire strippers, but after having to rewire an entire ecu plug wire by wire with deutsch pins I’ve changed my mind. The repeatability and speed far outweighs older methods, although I still use the stripper portion of my crimpers in a pinch
1990 it’s still useful even inside dangerous if it’s plugged in because if the power has not plugged in not carry electricity I think it should be safer to take a bite of it and take it off but if the electricity still lack still active you should be careful
i still use 1990
Good luck with your health problem
@@theinfofoxgotgears3782to what? Wires that have no power to them?

Tasty
@@theinfofoxgotgears3782 There is nothing wrong lil bro 💀
1990 make me feel pain 😂
Weak
Weak
Débil
It doesn't even hurt...

1980: *uses nails*
Oh god!
Pretty easy if you have long nails
@@kayzgamez its actually really easy just the thicker wire takes a little more pain tolerance
Me
Nah your thinking of 1912
Don't do the first one the copper wires will SAW INTO YOUR TOOTH
Just be careful, its just basic 1990 year. And i still use it
Too late
Agreed
No balls
IF YOU DONT DO IT RIGHT YES but it still can be done that way
Caring for teeth was invented in 1991 people in 1990:
What in the npc comment is this?

It’s the 5 minute crafts guy
SOMEONE SAID IT

😂😂😂😂
2000 is the best good but 2024 is the most efficient good
Then shouldn't the most efficient one be considered the best one?

Good 🗿
OlD GoOd NeW BaD. I would kill for the "2024" wire stripper. I hate the cheap mass produced two pieces of low quality steel ones that everyone has.

@@Turles811what you yapping about now???
You can kill me
Notice how much effort is put into safety instead of being the tough guy getting grilled
Biting wires can damage your teeth, I just use pliers or sidecutters
I think I am stuck in 1990 😅😅
Im gonna take my wire stripper over dental bills.😊
1990😢😢 the pain
I like the concept of the newer ones but I like to use a good ole knife
The guy who use lighter 🔛🔝
Hadir bang😂
Everyone in 1950: in 2024 we will have flying Cars
2024:
1990 gets you ladies but 2024 gets you practicality.
1980: Burns plastic with lighter then pulls molten plastic with fingers
me using scissors : WELL WHAT TF YEAR AM I? 1895
I like the music it’s very nice 😊
I hated using newer auto wire strippers, but after having to rewire an entire ecu plug wire by wire with deutsch pins I’ve changed my mind. The repeatability and speed far outweighs older methods, although I still use the stripper portion of my crimpers in a pinch
Yep. Just make sure the wire isnt connected when biting the isolation off😅😅😶
I became more interested in electric projects because of the new tools
My design and modeling class still uses the 2010 version
1990 & 2024 go hard af
I just use whatever pair of scissors that i can find in my Mystical Box of Magical Goodies
Bros been waiting so long just for that
1990 dude had Bluetooth 💀
Dude the fact that this guy buus all these things just for a vid is crazy
that newest tool is pretty geniously designed tho
I dont understand why people are upset at technology advancing and making things easier, just dont use the tool and let people use what they want
I still use 2000 but use Scissors (for 220v cable) and Using a match(for phone charger cable)
The fact that I feel easy going when doing the 2000 style
I've not spliced wires in a while coz it's so easy to buy a proper length one now in Amazon.
Me 2024 cause i have the same tool its literally easiest and quickest in my opinion
Bro I am in Engineering and I already use 2024 tool for soldering pcb .
burn the end of the cable with a lighter then pull out the end of the cable 😂
I went from 1990 to 2010 with my Milwaukee Combination Wire Pliers
Bro 90's all the Way lmaooo
The first one just feels right to do
Why we need a dedicated wire cutter simple:because more copper without missing strands= better electrical flow
It is not a wire splicer it is a wire stripper
Beat me to it 😂
On the 2010 you have to twist a few times to dig into the wire and then pull it’s easier
POV: You live in 2010, and accidentally cut the cable☠️💀
I do with the 2000s way
Takes too long, I rather bite the plastic off
Our mouth has an integrated wire splicer on it
Those who did 2024 with a middle school scissor: ...
OK, I can’t be the only one hearing this the last part of this video when the song is slowed down it sounds like dust dust sans music theme
I use the 2000s trick, a knife or scissors works fine
Nothing is needed from 2010 to 24 just grab something sharp and that's it
XD
Im 2000 im not biting my dirty ahh cables💀
Buddy you using the wrong noise that noise sound like like better going to Warsaw. It's also going to battle or do like the opposite
Like your video bro ❤❤❤
And here I am still using the 1990 method
1990 on a live wire
It will be fire 🔥🔥 😂😂
I use the 1990 method saved so much time
Tbh the 1990 was more effective than any of the others
Born in 2009 and use the 1990 way😂
Ah yes, the knife was invented in the 2000s
I thought the whisperers killed this guy...
I've a broken right middle on the bottom right corner tooth let's say it's perfect for 1990
that’s been around longer than 11 months, i’ve been using that since 2008
Is no one going to mention the fact that he is not splicing wires, he is stripping them
1990 and 2000 is what I was taught in school.
I have the lastone from the 80's and it's made in the PRC
Where are the people who still use lighters?😭😂😂
I see bro last at 3 years ago at 5 minute craft🫠💀
I hear this sound everywhere whats the name?
1990 got that taste 🥰
I'm 11 and I use 1990 method for my school project
1990 it’s still useful even inside dangerous if it’s plugged in because if the power has not plugged in not carry electricity I think it should be safer to take a bite of it and take it off but if the electricity still lack still active you should be careful
Bro thinks there were no knives in 1990
2024, 2010 and 2000. Depends on what wire
The most effective way is the teeth NGL
Wait... there is an actual tool to do that? I've been using my teeth this whole time!!!
My grandpa with his lighter :
My uncle use fire to splicer the wire
Ain't this the guy from 5 min crafts?
They had tools like 2024 in the 80s my dad still used his
Bro look like a older brother
Me who uses nail clippers ☠️
I use scissors and make it on a specific angle to get the wires out
Hhhvvh😊

This confuses me, they had wire strippers way before 1990. So why does he act like they weren't invented till 2010?
I thought it said wife splitter😂😂😂😂
I still use a lighter to this day. Im 17 yo ajd my father showed me how to do it with a loghter back then and its pretty easy
lol bro I have that exact knife
I was born four years after the wire splicer so I’m the 2010
Imagine how many people died in 1990 because of that technique
Is this the guy from 5 minute crafts???
I lernt the 2010 way at school but i allways did the 90s way as it was quicker for me
just put it between the blades of a scissor l, twist for a bit and pull it off
5 minutes craft guy 😂❤
1990 and 2000 it's me😂
I'm not speak English
I still use 1990’s method 😂
2010, I understand the difficulty working with my dad
2024 is actually useful
“Oh boy thats a game changer”
u do know the second one was around in the 2000s just nobody bought them cause they had teeth and knives the 3rd one is just overkill
You telling me im 34 years in the past?
What is the song name? I always have this question
