@@colbydurk8612First the shirt Aman is wearing in this video looks very much like the shirts Hikaru is wearing. But it is well known that Hikaru is very short so the joke is that their shirts might be similar but Aman is sitting on his chair when streaming while Hikaru stands up when streaming and still his height is like a man sitting on a chair.
Thanks Aman for playing a lower level game. I can barely maintain 400 after playing for six months so I need more of these instructional vids for 400-500 level. Thanks for making it!!
Aman reminds me of the ski instructor from South Park. "What's Chess all about? Having A Good Time. If you play c4 without having your Bishop on b2... You're gna have a Bad Time."
Only the second episode, but I'm enjoying this series. I'm usually too impatient for slower games, but studying, is how you improve, and this series is similar to that.
In building habits, you said you could talk for hours about Caro kann two knights theory but were cutting your lecture short to around ten minutes for that series. Is this series perhaps the right place to bust out the seriously in depth Caro kann two knights theory?
37:47 hahaha. You need some ointment for that burn? Whoever said that earned a prime sub, That was hilarious. LMAO Edit: It was a Mr Swifttickle. Well done, sir.
These might not get the most views, but I love me some chess videos that compete against the Naroditsky long form videos. Once these get into 1500+ it should start getting interesting
at 13:30 if bishop takes knight on e4, then bishop takes back, why can't queen take back the bishop? Wouldn't 2 pieces be better than the rook? Also, that comes with a check that most likely forces the queen trade? I'm a chess noob, pls help.
at 15:30, I think that the queen would not be trap because it could moves Qxa2. The bishop would block the queen on c2. Am I missing something? Thanks for the great content as always btw ;)
@15:50, Aman traps his queen (or has to exchange it for a rook and a knight) if his opponent plays knight to c3, then queen to c2 and finally bishop a3, no?
I actually really enjoy this series. Love the insight into the thought process.
Really like this format - time to explain the thought process, and also people usually make better moves with more time to think. (sometimes)
That Bxf7+ tactic out of nowhere was kinda crazy though, I didn’t even consider that possibility when looking at that position.
Do you mean Bf2#?
Early inaccuracies really set the stage for the entire game!
"its not a hikaru cosplay because i am sitting down" hahaha
This is soo savage :D:D:D
Can someone explain

Love this series! Looking forward to when you get up to a higher rating as well

A great teacher. Thanks!
This series should be referred to as a 'slowrun' instead of the usual 'speedrun'
Thank you for playing this low, as I am this low and learn a lot! Many creators start at 700 and lose a lot of us
Yo anybody see Eric's anal-bead joke made it to an episode of Always sunny in Philadelphia lol?
Tell that to GMs that have far greater strength. Everything is relative when it comes to varying strengths...
Tell what? He's trying to help people
Great series! Could you guys make a playlist of the videos so far? Otherwise I'm making my own lol

I follow habits, very rarely hang anything more than a pawn & *still* lose every game. 1000 ELO is rough lol

be3 looks like a fun move to play here.
love this series!
Thank you! Hope you tell your friends so we can produce more of these 🙏
Best chess series on TH-cam! Thanks for thinking of us low rated players.
Gooo Slowbrah
Aman Chessbrah content is my jam.

If it's good enough for hikaru, I don't see why I shouldn't.

The trade only equals 3 points a free rook is 5 points

rook a1 will trap the queen if it takes on a2
No. Do it to irritate. Just don't mess your own position up.

No. After Nf3, bxf3 Qc2, cxd2 Ba3 or Ba2 he has Qe1. If the rook takes he takes back with the pawn promoting to another queen.
Pawns capture diagonally, bruh
@@Joachimhuby if Ba3, queen can also just go back to the center
@@Joachimhubyah yes, I see it now. If he captures with the pawn a second time his queen gets away. Thanks!
This is awesome
15:35 what happens if Nc3
Delayed alapin players gotta see this
