If you've ever experienced firsthand what it's like to starve, you'd know that Ruggie's obsession with food and insatiable appetite are super accurate! It's like food becomes the only thing that matters!
It's quite interesting that Ruggie is so fixated on food but at the same time refuses to accept handouts unless he feels like he earned it or believes that he tricked people to get it. I'm always amazed how consistant and layered the characters im TWST are they did a good job
as someone who grew up in poverty, it teaches you the art of rationing food and basic necessities to ensure survival. It’s like a constant calculation: if I eat this amount of food, how much energy will it give me, and how long can I sustain myself to complete certain tasks? That’s why I deeply appreciate Ruggie as a character. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s just trying to survive with all the odds on him. Totally motivated me to keep on being alive and strive for the better ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✨
0:45 Interesting comment Trey. In areas where Dandelions don’t grow wildly there are farmers who actively cultivate them, they’re kinda like spinach. There’s even dandelion tea in my supermarket-granted, I never took the time to try it 🤷🏽♀️.
if you ever have the chance to try ot make some, dandelion jelly is also very delicious. i think it tastes a lot like honey without the hint of sour in the flavor profile. and as for the greens, i've been told they taste sweeter when younger and get more bitter as they get bigger and older, but if you like arugula or rocket then i'm sure it tastes just fine. as long as the weeds havent been sprayed with chemicals or you know no animals have gone toilet on them, you can basically use any dandelions you find. and the tea can be made with the roots (and also the flowers)
I just noticed you don't have an Epel Vil relationship summary- I would love to see it if you have a chance! I feel the relationship is a lot different in en than jpn, and I'd love to see your take on it!

He's the impersonation of
"I have 69 cents."
"Oh, you know what that means." 😏
"I don't have enough money for chicken nuggets." 🥺🥺
Personally I love how they wrote Ruggie and how they interpreted the Hyenas being starved in the movie

Poor Ruggie... I hope he is doing better than before.

A minor note that Trey isn’t one to understand other cultures and admits to be privileged in Playful Land.

I now need an eating contest between Ruggie and Grim. Who has the real bottomless stomach? 😅
