- We had a magical Halloween last year in Ireland and a magical one the year before in Moab, but this year's holiday was picture perfect.
Kids everywhere, candy, friends, jack-o-lanterns, donuts and cider -it just doesn't get any better than this!

Daniel is so funny with his name tag 😂😂😂 he has developed such a great sense of humor and you can tell he’s very confident in himself.
I loved Daniels face when he told about all the girls in dance class.

Daniel’s English has improved soooo much! I was watching old vlogs from the trailer when you couldn’t understand him much, to now when he is so easy to understand! It’s amazing how fast he’s learned! Also, he seems so happy since you guys have moved home (not that he wasn’t before!!), with all his jobs.. you can definitely tell he is going to do something BIG with his life, I’m so excited to see what it is!

I just have to say that Esther is never without a smile and what a beautiful smile it is! I can tell she has such a warm spirit and brings so much joy to those around her.

It's so great, that Esther and dani can take chinese classes. Improving your first language, when growing up with a second is the best thing to do!

Esther and Daniel are such great kids. Daniel is so hard working and likable. I have never seen Esther without a smile on her face. She seems like the sweetest girl ever. I hope they enjoy school. I love that you give your the kids the option to do what they do best with in school.

I loved Pearl's makeup for Halloween. She looked so pretty. I had to laugh at Eve being the last to leave the doors, especially if she saw an animal... just so sweet of her. Mike and Megan, you can be so proud of your beautiful family. It's obvious that not only do you have love for each other, but also for all the kids. What a blessing you all are to each other.. Oooh next time y'all can roast the leftover pumpkin seeds in the oven. Just roll them with some olive oil & spices and right they go into the oven 👍 Can be a fun & healthy project for the kids.

I understand if you don't want to answer this question but I'm just curious. What were the deciding factors for sending some kids to public school and not others?
Only the high school and middle school had the options to take some classes and not others. Andrew wasn’t interested in middle school and the other teens were.
So interesting that the public schools allow them to take a few classes. Here in Maryland if we send them to high school we have to do it at the beginning of the 9th grade. Most high schools will not accept any credits from homeschooling, nor will they test them to see where they should be placed. Homeschooling here is easy but getting back into the public high school in the middle of high school is not easy. And there is no "partial" enrollment. I'm happy to continue to homeschool my son, but having those options is really nice! Thanks for answering my question. Have a lovely day!

Started watching your videos round about this time last year, just after Halloween, when you were still in Ireland. I so wish you guys had come to Derry in the north of Ireland to experience Halloween there, it's amazing and lasts all week. You would have loved it. I love your new entryway rug, just for future reference there’s a website rugsusa.com I just bought a living room rug from there and you can upload a picture of your space and try the different rugs styles out before you buy it! It’s so helpful because I’m like you very picky on how I want my rugs to look and their prices are very reasonable.

I didn’t use my locker at all in high school, I carried a thirty pound backpack (I weighed it) around or left the books in my favorite teachers room
May I ask why? Where I'm from we never had the option to have lockers, so I had to carry a heavy backpack. I know I spent a lot of time wishing I had a locker
prettylittleravenna my school was two stories and pretty big, like 1500 students and all my classes where on the same wing but my locker was on the other side of the building so there was no point of me running all the way there to get books for a class that was only a few doors down
