Thanks a lot Nicky, for giving us the opportunity to watch it for TH-cam, Gary Barlow best songwriter, solo artist, producer and singer, his life is admirable!!
This one's the best so far, IMHO. I love the background info and the casual and comfy way you interview those you invite to your podcast. Can't wait for the next one. ❤❤❤❤
Great interview. I only meant to watch a little, but there's something about Gary's way of talking that always makes me want to hear what he says next. Nicky's not too shabby himself! It's very refreshing to see two different boy band members talking like this.
I love listening to Gary,I think the reason why Take That have such longevity and still stand up today compared to all the other boybands is due to his songwriting skills, without those songs there would be no Take That..its that simple. Those songs have a life of their own and are well loved.
Gary Barlow and my Dreamy Nicky make a fabulous team for my Dreamy Nicky s Radio show. I love you both very very very much. And I’m looking forward to listening to you guys. Keep sparkling like the stars 🌟. My love 😍
The difference between a Robbie Williams interview and a Gary barlow interview is that Robbie talks mostly about himself and his achievements, while Gary gives credit to everyone.
He is not talking good. He is complaining about Louis for appreciating Shane instead of complementing himself. Nicky is very competitive even in situations where he shouldn't be. Garry was seriously nice to him in this interview. He tried pointing the truth to him gentley. Listen carefully. He is experienced with petty complaints from the band. Listen to him :
@sipnog3528 I don't think he is complaining Louis. He told that Louis said Shane was good and he agreed that. He was making a bit fun of him because everyone said Shane was good but he actually is. Shane's angelic voice makes Westlife more successful. Also he is not that competitive I think 🤔
@@theinginwe1980 Do me a favour. Search for Westlife 2019 Face book interview. You'll understand clearly what Im talking about. Vs what I'm hearing now. It all make sense. In that interview you'd feel sorry for Shane. It was like 3 people against him. The unfairness of it all they made it sound like the management favoured Shane. Although it was obvious that Shane's talent and voice was the deciding factor in making him lead most of Westlife songs. It was the same voice that made American producers openly praised his voice during their record session of Country music. At the time his voice became Country voice instead of pop voice. PLEASE LISTEN TO THAT INTERVIEW , THEN COME BACK AND TELL ME there was no negative competitiveness amongst the lads. Read Shane's book,My Side Of Life . It will enlightened you. You'll understand a bit about the behind the scenes pettiness amongst the lads. I still love them though. But it is tough to be in Shane's position in a band. Gary knows it too well. That's why he's telling Nicky that it is tricky to be in a band.
Always been a massive fan of westlife so it's so nice to see a different side nicky...currently struggling with depression so I'm sat listening to the podcast
Thank you Nicky for making another great podcast interview that we as fans can listen to and enjoy! Nicky Byrne podcast always delivers the inspiring conversations and fascinating stories every time?🤩🤗
Loving this podcast. The concept is different to the norm, the studio looks amazing and Nicky, you are a fantastic interviewer. Can’t wait to watch more. ✌🏻
Great Episode already to listen and now to see as well. Very interessting to hear how Take That got their fanbase database in the first place with this „yellow box“ and how it all started. And Nicky we are still happy you joind Louis „PUB Band“ 🤣😉
They all had a good laugh now about what Robbie did in the '90s. That's maturity, baby. Looking back, I never got the chance to fully stan the group, I only became aware of them in 1995 because of their hit "Back for Good". Then, boom! The following year, they announced their disbandment. It was all over the news at the time, and it was huge, even here in the Philippines. By the way, I was only 10 years old then, and I was already heartbroken. Thankfully, Boyzone was already making waves around that time and so I switched to Boyzone. I also remember liking Gary Barlow's first album in 1997. I even bought a cassette tape of it. LOL! My favorite tracks (and they still are) are Love Won't Wait and Help Me Girl. Good times. Good times
Lovely interview, as well as being so incredible talented Gary Barlow comes across as being very humble and an absolute gentleman. Mr Liam Payne should have spent some time with him. Gary could have taught him a thing or two on how to handle fame.
I hope this show continue with more x boybanders. Its verry intresting, i grew up listening to almost all of them. Not kids on the block, but take that, a1, boyzone, bsb, nsync, five, westlife, blue and one direction. The hole cycle almost 😅

It's not a Stockholm Syndrome because Louis changed his life for better. Soccer dream failed, and Louis picked him and gave him a great career.
Is Gary not married 🤔 no wedding ring , I thought he was married. I love these interviews , I'm 51 so Take That were around when I was a similar age , I'm not necessarily a fan , but I think you couldn't help notice the attention they got , so it was a case of I wish I was doing that. Back for good though is a classic , I think anyone who says its not great is either lying or into death metal or something, then Never Forget and you realise they weren't too bad , so when they came back as I'm now older as well i could admit to liking them. Then nowadays you get to see interviews like this and you see how genuine Gary is , whether you like the music or not , he is just a top bloke, I put him in the genuine nice guy bracket with Rick Astley, James Blunt and Justin Hawkins , i find them interesting because you know they are telling the truth , they aren't embellishing stories, with someone like Robbie , I just couldn't tell you what he says is true , I just find him fake , I think he has forgotten who he really is a long time ago , so his interviews mean nothing to me . These types of interview though I could watch for hours , because its behind the scenes talk , and that's what I love to find out about , some artists either don't want to reveal anything, or can't or they lie, Gary just tells it as it is, plus having Nickys input is equally as I interesting, how he kept his calm around Louis Walsh though i don't know , I think I'd have been kicked out the band for eventually letting my anger at him get the better of me. Great interview, really enjoyed it.
He has been married to Dawn since 2000 and has 3 kids. Reason why he doesn’t (always) wear a ring is because he finds it uncomfortable when he plays piano.
