So it sounds pretty unanimous, everyone wants more frequent videos, long or short. In order to do that though they will have to be shorter. So our goal right now is to get the next episode out by next Wednesday! Thanks so much for all the feedback and all the love! We appreciate each and every one of you.
The colorful fish, the reefs, the underwater flora are absolutely stunning, almost unbelievable. Since spending time in the Bahamas, I no longer go into the ocean waters along the central US east coast. Much thanks.
I like the 12 to 15 minute format on the travel and adventure stuff. You can always put out a longer one on particular topics, and please add some general maintenance ones too. We all know it’s not all bars and snorkeling, there’s a lot of work that goes into being on a boat! Cheers
Thanks for the feedback Jeffrey. Yes we have some maintenance stuff in the can, so to speak. Have you see the slightly older vids with the engine issues and boat makeover videos?
@@SearchingforCShels Yes I did, I love the make over videos you did to the interior and the exterior upgrade, and of course I was watching the engine issue , I am in the process of re powering our 30 Penn Yan sportfish.
I really liked this episode. A little bit of various stuff. Cruising, exploring, diving and relaxing combined with the day to day maintanance on the boat 👍
I'd love to do what you do, and I'm working on making it happen within the next two years. Daily job combined with assisting some scubadiving classes ( I have Padi Rescue diver, working on dive master) and refitting my boat myself will eventually get me there
Amazing Job! Emily watch it twice with us and she was laughing and screaming when she saw the different fish and mammals. When she saw you guys she would say, "there is uncle Sheldon and aunt Cyndi. She loved it. So glad you guys are enjoying heaven on earth! love yous!
Searching for C-Shels I truly love you guys. I wish nothing but the best for you. If I could afford a boat my wife and I would so love to hang out with you guys. Wow how awesome would that be we could have a joint friends channel lol. Stay well, stay healthy and live the life!!
I enjoy your videos..... and yes they do inspire me to explore more.. Videos 10-15 long are perfect... my busy lifestyle only allows me short periods of time to watch... keep them coming..I hope to celebrate my 50th B-day in Freeport, Bahamas..
Great video! Hard to beat the Exumas! Nice to see you using the bucket trick to look into the water...locals we fish with in Exuma do the same...that's where we've seen it done!
Always happy to look at your videos, so the more frequent the better. It keeps us updated on your journey and it is easier to follow. Keep up the great work and enjoy paradise.
Well done on the videos! You have encouraged my family or more importanly me, to boat to the Bahamas! As a planner, architect, boater, that means we bought a dock with a house first in Palm City, capable of having a couple of large boats. Now we have to pick up a suitable cruiser. Tolly or other.. say hello if you need a dock, car, stop in Stuart/Palm City Florida...we have room for the 44 Robert and Channe
Thanks so much for the offer of the dock. We will keep it in mind if we are ever in need. Good luck in the boat search. So glad we could play a small role in pushing you toward the lifestyle. You won't regret it. 😎👍
Love all your videos. What ever makes you guys happy. I know you put so much hard work into each video. Take your time and keep doing what your doing. I hate to see y’all rush and make this a job.
Yes we love it in the Bahamas and the people are amazing. Yes we know we pronounce that wrong, we are from the east coast of Canada and pronounce most everything wrong. 😉
Wow, beautiful water and beaches. I’m so happy you guys are able to live and travel the way you do. I have a boat, but live in Indiana, so only lakes in the summer for me and my family. Love the videos, long or short doesn’t matter to me, just keep them coming. Live, Love, Enjoy life, keep exploring!!! 😀
I am soooo glad to have found your channel. I love everything about world travel by water but am sick of watching someone "trim their sail" and complain about the available wind for the millionth time. Power yachting baby!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to visit. Thanks for sharing, guys. Also, I'm liking the new video idea. I think 10 to 15 minute videos are fine. It's also good to have some variety with shorter clips.
Love this video - beautiful! I was thinking it might also be nice to see some time lapse footage when you’re cruising past some islands or where there’s something to see. Safe travels!

What beautiful waters! Yes it inspires us to buy our boat to start cruising when I finally retire! Lol! I’m fine w longer videos! You guys do a great job of edit8ng and producing videos. Great idea with short and frequent so it keeps us jealous people something to look forward to while stuck on land!! Maybe a longer one every once in a while when you guys find a really nice place like the anchorage you pulled into last during high tide!
I think the Bahamas is the reason why these videos are so amazing. It’s just soo beautiful there,it’s hard for anything to look bad on video. My GOSH the colour of the water, ohh my!! How did you guys manage to come back to Canada. I don’t think I would of,especially if I had a boat like c-shells.
I’m up in Canada and need a boating fix via video this time of year.... I vote shorter more often. Love what your doing and so pleased you share!! Keep well. Blair
Killing ourselves is not on the agenda, lol. Thanks Bret and Talyn. We really appreciate the encouragement you guys give. Thanks for being around for so long.
Loved the video. Since you asked: Shorter videos, focus on per location - explore each island for those of us that has to keep working! Thanks for sharing ... loved it!
It IS beautiful there. The first time we took our 43 GB over, my wife was panicking that we were going to ground out. I told her, “Relax, we're in 35 ft. of water!!”. Now, after downsizing, I’m content to finish my days fishing in the Keys. Enjoy, you two, it goes by fast!!
I am very interested in doing something similar in the future. I have grown up on the Great Lakes and regularly used 18 foot power boats. Were did you get your nautical training, or how do you recommend training, for larger boats (>40ft)? Also how did you do your planning in regards to which islands and ports to stop and schedule along your trip? Thanks for your help and I am seriously envious of your adventures!
Thanks Aaron. Years ago we took coursed from the Power and Sail Squadron in Canada. It was a big help with navigation, plotting, tides, rules of the road, etc. There is probably a power and sail group close to you. We also boated for almost 20 years before heading to the Bahamas. Every year in the Great Lakes we would venture further and always get a little out of our comfort zone from time to time. Also, online and printed material are great as well - Active Captain and Waterway Guide comes to mind to help with the best places to go. Hope this helps. If you want any more info, please feel free to ask. Cheers!
When I lived in Florida I met couples who had sold everything and bought a live aboard sail boat to retire into. Very claustrophobic small quarters. Although fun for a time you could tell that they felt stuck and regretted it.
Great video. Make sure you stay at Pipe Cay in the Exuma Cays. Just across from Compass Cay Marina. It is the old US tracking station and has a cement dock great for tying up to. Rocky Dundas and it's cave is very near and a must to visit. Enjoy our Cays.
Awesome! Would you mind providing a list in the description of the cays you visited. Sometimes you say the names so fast it's hard to hear them precisely. I like to refer to them on the chart. Planning a trip to the Bahamas in my 39' boat, so this is really helpful. Thank you!

Cindy and Shel, Happy New Year!As another person wrote...I will take whatever you folks offer in terms of frequency. The yard we have doing our refitting is slow. Out refitting yard went to replace one condenser in our 1977 Cruiseair system of 3 and not only do they not make that one but upon closer examination....well it is a completely new system from thru hull to the switches. Everything....then a no match part was sent....Heh, we are looking to April 1st to relaunch SIGMACHI and next winter perhaps we will be in warm blue waters like C-Shell. One request.. Your offerings are timeless and just magnificent ...However, I'd like to see the date and general location imprinted at the beginning of the film. Wishing both of you happiness and TIGHT LINES! We love your vids guys and looks forward to them. We'll take whatever you 2 decide knowing how much work it is. Thanks for the constant depth references Sheldon. We draw 4'9" and are always wondering, can we get in there ????? Sadly we are sitting on board ,not in the Bahamas but in downtown Trenton in very high gusting winds . The combination of the wind rocking the boat, C-Shels on the 55 inch screen and the zooms had Vicki sea sick !!!😣😣 Me not so much 😀😀 Because you are Canadian, from close to where we are, and are in a motoryatch you're our favorite you tube channel. looks amazing .. I will take whatever you are willing to put out there. I have the boat but I am past the age to do what you guys are accomplishing , so like many followers we will dream along.
Thanks Gary! We really appreciate you dreamers following! We say you are never past the age. 😉Cheers friend!
Cindy and Shel,
Happy New Year!As another person wrote...I will take whatever you folks offer in terms of frequency.
Wishing both of you happiness and
TIGHT LINES!

How about a boat tour, and some insight of long voyages, food prep, food storage, refrigeration if used. We are planing some trips aboard our Sea Ray 370 Sundancer, M/V Arai. Awesome videos, just found you guys, got tired of Delos. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Glenn, those are great suggestions. Just put them on the list. Cheers, and welcome aboard!
Amazing trip info and videos,
Thanks Vern!
All of your videos are excellent it don't matter if they're long or short...just keep them coming! :)
Will do Victor! Thanks.
The combination of the wind rocking the boat, C-Shels on the 55 inch screen and the zooms had Vicki sea sick !!!😣😣 Me not so much 😀😀
Because you are Canadian, from close to where we are, and are in a motoryatch you're our favorite you tube channel.
Hope to meet you down there in 2 years !!
All the best , Aren and Vicki , "No Fixed Address"
Thanks guys. We are humbled and honored. Sea sick? We don’t want to be the cause of that. Isn’t Trenton frozen solid by now?
@@SearchingforCShels 3 ice eaters and constant vigilance and we're getting by. Wish we're there !!! This year is tougher than last. Being by the river brings a whole new set of challenges. ( Google Frizal ice) Last year at Mariposa Landing (Atherly Narrows) was much easier. From Fraser Park Marina in Beautiful downtown Trenton, Aren and Vicki (arenvic adventures)
