I never really buy extras like this, but honestly, the game really needs some sort of storage solution if you got everything. I cannot imagine a better solution than this, especially in regards to just making it more playable. It's something I dread, in just getting everything out and set up. This is so elegant
I'm blown away at how much I was able to haul to the curb for recycling after crunching this one down. This makes large scale games much more manageable!
@RollingSolo Absolutely, totally agree 💯, its incredible work! I whish they would be part of the crowdfunding, would be an instant back because I would know that I could squeeze the game into my too big collection 😅!
I have only one doubt - don’t you find it tedious and remove all 67 “standard zombies” before the game and then put all of them back in the racks? Seems like it would be best (for non-painters) if those were just stored loose in containers
Not at all. Simply place the racks near the game and pull them out as called on. Most zombies once pulled out once are pulled again on repeat. Minus the Zombie heroes. The trays honestly take up less space then piling all the minis on the table or standing them all up individually.
You could certainly go the route of containers and baggies. I’ve done this but the setup becomes the painful spot and you get a faster tear down. I think the insert provides the best balance.
@jayvir6 @jayvir6 hmmm I have the all in. $615. Still too much as it’s half what i paid for the game. It’ll save you maybe 5 min set up. It’s an awesome design but if you have the room it’s not worth it. Could put that 300 into another game or something.
I can understand that. However, the feeling of pulling out three boxes to play the game out of one Kallax slot is a dream. The art is all on the books inside the manuals anyway. Plus they always use the best boxes for the insert I've found. :)
@@RollingSolo I hear - read - you. Part of my passion for the comics oriented stuff I have is to replace the collection that was lost to me years ago. I like looking at the stacks in my kallax. ... Ha! ... But, game set up time and ease of travel are very valid and satisfying concerns as well. I'm already considering one of the items shown in your video. : )
@@sirtrevis I'm not a big fan of board games that take up more than one space on my Kallax. I can ignore it for a bit but after awhile I want it reduced down to one cube space max. The bonus of setup, tear down and organization are wins of course too! :)
That’s fair. It may not work for everyone. I have a coupon code if that helps. Remember the all-in was in the $750 range. So a premium game typically needs a premium solution. I can tell you the insert design, storage solution, setup/teardown benefits are awesome.
@@Rshawokc Also be aware of the fact that the video lead many people to the insert which likely resulted in extra sales plus the holiday delay. They're a website/etsy store so they don't have mass scale production. Just some things to be mindful of. :)

Tinkering Paws inserts are just the best. I have the Fallout board game insert and the one for Civ: New Dawn. Both great
They do a great job of designing each of them. Top notch stuff!
I never really buy extras like this, but honestly, the game really needs some sort of storage solution if you got everything. I cannot imagine a better solution than this, especially in regards to just making it more playable. It's something I dread, in just getting everything out and set up. This is so elegant
Putting all the pieces in the insert and especially back in the box is far too satisfying haha
I love this insert, it's insanely good, a must have!
They would need to scale things up but it would be nice!
"Must" would apply to utility only. Weigh up "must" with the cost and it suddenly isnt so important
It’s certainly up for debate!
Looks really great, but $224 U.S. is way to expensive for me.
A fair point! The price is the only con of the insert. Otherwise, it's nails everything very well.

Very nice! Not worth almost 300 bucks with shipping to the states nice though. Awesome design!
It's a product aimed at a nearly $1000 collection. I think it's priced appropriately for what it pertains to

5% off purchase price, not postage - $15 off a $400 total charge. Unlikely to change my ability to actually get this
Hey Adrian! Coupons hit purchase price unless it’s specific to shipping costs. Cheers! 🙂
Boy, it is not easy thinking about getting rid of all that great art!
The art is amazing. But I def need to make space. Might go with the typical ziplock baggies on this one and just pray nothing breaks.
I can understand that. However, the feeling of pulling out three boxes to play the game out of one Kallax slot is a dream. The art is all on the books inside the manuals anyway. Plus they always use the best boxes for the insert I've found. :)

$300 shipped for inserts, I'll figure out how to keep the boxes :)

Over a month on the shipping time? Good Zeus man.
At this point in time any order is going to be delayed out because of the holidays of course! 🙂
@@RollingSolo Not sure if that logic applies to a February delivery, but we might have different expectations of holiday delays.

Wow 300$ for storage... I think I will try and design my own stuff and 3D print it
Hope it helped you either way! 😄
@@RollingSolo it did... I just don't understand paying almost the same price for storage as the actual game if not more!
Well technically the all-in pledge was easily over 2x the price of this insert. So it’s not as off as it sounds!
That's just way too damn much stuff. I find when a game gets that bloated, it becomes too overwhelming to table
Marvel Zombies was a ton of stuff. CMON stuff can have many boxes for sure but if you organize it all down it can’t be drastically reduced.
